Meghan Markle Wore Princess Diana's Jewelry For Her First Outing After Pregnancy Announcement

It's quite a busy time for the Duchess of Sussex. On the heels of Meghan Markle's pregnancy announcement with husband Prince Harry, the pair stepped out in Australia on Oct. 15 to kick off their first royal tour as a married couple. Meghan chose a sophisticated Karen Gee dress for the occasion, fittingly called the "Blessed Dress," and gave a heartwarming nod to Princess Diana with her jewelry selection.

Zoom in on a picture of Meghan strolling through the Admiralty House in Sydney and you may notice her elegant gold and diamond butterfly earrings. This pair actually once belonged to Diana, who wore them back in 1986 during a visit to Canada. Meghan also wore a gold bracelet from Diana's personal collection - how sweet!

While Meghan sadly never had the chance to meet Harry's mom, they've kept her memory close throughout their relationship. Meghan's engagement ring famously features two diamonds from Diana's personal collection, and Harry claims if his wife and mother knew each other today, they'd be "thick as thieves."
