A$AP Rocky Dubbed “Aunty Rocky” And More After He Wears a Gucci Scarf On His Head to the LACMA Art and Film Gala

Last night, A$AP Rocky posted a picture of himself from the LACMA Art and Film Gala in Los Angeles, with the caption “BABUSHKA BOI”. Hey, he said it. Not me. (“Babushka” is Russian for Grandmother, FYI.)

Amidst the thousands of comments, Wiz Khalifa’s hilarious contribution of “Aunty Rocky” made me choke, that is until I scrolled down and read some more hilarious responses from his adoring yet confused fans.

They don’t call him Pretty Flacko for nothing. The man is practically a supermodel. He has been the muse at Dior Homme, and now is pushing boundaries in this Gucci floral look. He wants us to know he can wear anything, setting the standard for what men of our time will dress like. He has the stature and confidence to be garbed like a 1960’s Italian bombshell, sitting high on the seat of a tiny convertible, with the wind blowing at her satin scarf, as it slips off her hair. She holds on to her over-sized glasses, face toward the horizon. He can step out in an embroidered shawl collared silk evening coat, so lustrous that the camera flash rebound may have blinded a few photographers in the mob of paparazzi around him, and still ooze a very masculine sexuality. I for one, did not miss the sleek navy suit and the wide fur-lined patent slides that comprised the rest of the outfit. Grandmother inspired or not, A$AP Rocky is leading in menswear style.

Oh, to Be Pedro Pascal's Sparkly Cardigan

Never have we been more envious of an inanimate object than when Pedro Pascal stepped out in a sparkly cardigan this week. As soon as we saw him walking the streets of London wearing the glittery knit, we longed to swap places with it - to be enrobing the heartthrob, catching the attention of random passersby, sparking internet discourse, and ultimately taking responsibility for his style breakout.
