These past few weeks, Victoria Beckham's been giving us all the fashion inspiration we could ever need. From her "optical illusion pants" to her tweed heels, luxurious leopard-print coat, and stirrup pants, the British designer has been inspiring us to revamp our wardrobes, and her latest look even made me want to try out a trend I've desperately been trying to avoid for months: the sheer top.

For a night out at David Beckham's Christmas Haig Club House party in London, the mom of three surprised me by wearing a sheer navy top from her own collection, which she paired with dark denim, black pumps, and a clutch. While the long-sleeved top comes with a matching cami, Victoria swapped it for a simple triangle bra.

Now, was I hoping that the sheer trend had come and gone? Yes. Did I ever think I would, one day, want to try it myself? Absolutely not.
