Sophisticated & Timeless

“Superior Preference always gives you the sophisticated and elegant hair colour you’re looking for,” says Brennen Demelo. “You will achieve a rich, long-lasting colour full of luminosity and shine for up to eight weeks.”

Product: L’Oréal Paris Superior Preference in “Stockholm 8S”

Commitment Level: Permanent

The Result: Luminous, fade-defying colour

Who it’s for: This is for someone who wants a sophisticated and timeless look. It is recommended for light blonds or for dark bases that have been pre-lightened using the Féria Absolute Platinum Lightening System.

“I’ve been modelling for a while, but I’ve never had silver hair,” says Brianna. “I really like my new colour. It’s trendy and elegant at the same time.”

Get the look:

  • Pour the Colour Gel into the Colour Optimizing Crème and mix.
  • Apply the mixture to dry, unwashed hair, working from the part down to the ends. Be sure to fully saturate the hair.
  • Leave it on for 25 minutes, rinse and then apply the colour-lock conditioner. Colour will last up to eight weeks.

Pro tip: “Use the Care Suprême conditioner, included in the hair colour box, after every shampoo to protect your colour and lock in shine for silky hair.”

No Commitment Colour

“I love working with Colorista; it’s a fun way to experiment with colour without the commitment,” says Demelo. “Follow the latest trend and change it up as often as you want.”

Products: L’Oréal Paris Colorista Spray in “Silver01” and Colorista Hair Makeup in “Grey700”

Commitment Level: Temporary one-day colour

The Result: Fun with no commitment

Who it’s for: This is for a playful colourer. Colorista Spray Grey is for blonds and brunettes, and Colorista Hair Makeup Silver is recommended for blonds.

“Not every woman wants to permanently dye her hair,” says Madelaine, who went temporarily silver with L’Oréal Paris Colorista Spray in “Silver01.” “This gives you a pop of colour, even if it’s just for a night out.”

Get the look:

  • For all-over colour, apply Colorista Spray in “Silver01” directly to dry hair.
  • For a more precise application on blond hair, use your fingertips to apply Colorista Hair Makeup in “Grey700” to strands or ends.
  • To finish, brush out your hair and let the product dry down.
  • When you’re ready to try something new, or return to your normal shade, wash the colour out with shampoo.

Pro tip: “Add a touch of silver to your look with Colorista Spray in ‘Silver01,’ like we did with Madelaine’s hair. It can be used on a dark or light base, for a broader application. If you are looking to add precise colour to the tips of your hair, try the new Colorista Hair Makeup in ‘Grey700’ [recommended for blond hair].”

Runway Ready

“Inspired by runway looks, this silver colour is for trendsetters,” explains Demelo. “The icy-silver tone will give the perfect edge to your look.”

Product: L’Oréal Paris Féria in “Silver Grey S1”

Commitment Level: Permanent

The Result: Bold, prismatic, shimmering colour

Who it’s for: This fashion-forward colour is for light blonds or for dark bases that have been pre-lightened using the Féria Absolute Platinum Lightening System.

“My hair completes my style. I will totally stand out from the crowd!” says Edith. “I’d definitely recommend this to friends who want to try something new.”

Get the look:

  • Pour the Shimmering Conditioning Colour Gel and Aromatic Shimmer Serum Booster into the Shimmering Conditioner Developer Crème application bottle and mix.
  • Put on gloves and apply the product to dry, unwashed hair, working from the roots to the ends.
  • Wait 25 minutes, rinse and then apply the Shimmer Boost Hydrating Conditioner. Colour will last from four to six weeks.

Pro tip: “On a dark base, like Edith’s hair, pre-lighten the hair before applying Féria in ‘Silver Grey S1.’ You can use Féria Absolute Platinum to lift your hair up to seven levels.”

I Tried the Viral One-Leg Jeans, and I Got Plenty of Stares

If you're into fashion and an avid TikTok scroller, you've probably come across the viral and somewhat controversial Coperni one-leg jeans . People who got their hands on them are asking followers how they should style them - and even whether or not they should keep them. Those who are still on a waitlist or are simply curious about the trend are going so far as to DIY the jeans by taking a scissor to one leg of an old pair. I, on the other hand, dared to step into the Romeo Hunte Black One Leg Pant ($232, originally $725), an alternative take on the same silhouette that's even more eye-catching (which, how is that possible?). These jeans were, without a doubt, one of the most polarizing looks I've ever worn - and I've tried some pretty divisive clothing, from Skims butt-enhancing shapewear to the brand's famous push-up nipple bra , and many a sheer naked dress . After wearing the jeans around town to run errands and obviously attracting some attention (st...

Oh, to Be Pedro Pascal's Sparkly Cardigan

Never have we been more envious of an inanimate object than when Pedro Pascal stepped out in a sparkly cardigan this week. As soon as we saw him walking the streets of London wearing the glittery knit, we longed to swap places with it - to be enrobing the heartthrob, catching the attention of random passersby, sparking internet discourse, and ultimately taking responsibility for his style breakout. Pascal has been serving look after look while promoting " The Last of Us " season one and "The Mandalorian" season three this year, working with stylists Julie Ragolia and Fabio Immediato . His latest came on Feb. 23 when he arrived to a radio interview wearing the shiny cardigan in question: a long button-down sweater made of silver foil yarn and created by menswear label 4SDesigns. He layered it over a sheer brown tank top and finished the look with black pants, leather boots, and his usual chunky-framed glasses. Just one day prior, the actor stopped by a photo call...
