Hailey Baldwin got in some quality time with mother-in-law Pattie Mallette. The two picked up froyo in Laguna Beach, CA, opting for a dress code that was one-and-a-half steps above completely casual. While Pattie capped off her sweat coordinates with a leather jacket and heeled boots, Hailey paired her Adidas sneakers with a silver slip dress - one of our favorite combinations.

Hailey covered her strappy, slinky number with a khaki shearling denim jacket, and accessorized with gold hoops and a scrunchie. If you've got an outing on the calendar with your SO's mom, you may want to take a tip from Hailey and pick up something throw-on-and-go like this - especially if it comes in a shade that just so happens to play up the sparkler that her son or daughter bought for you.
