Moschino Released a Sims-Inspired Collection - Yes, For Real-Life People

The Sims just got a high-fashion makeover: Moschino has announced a capsule collection inspired by the nostalgic life simulation video game, which is actually celebrating its 20th anniversary next year. The range consists of clothing, accessories, swimwear, and even phone cases in various pixelated prints. The signature green diamond - ahem, plumbob - even makes an appearance in the form of drop earrings!

"I love the idea of being able to imagine, design, and bring to life a world of individual personas with The Sims universe," said Moschino Creative Director Jeremy Scott in a press statement. "That concept emulates what I get to do for each collection at Moschino as I create a fantasy universe of spectacular storylines and characters."

While the news is at first unexpected, it makes sense given the influence of pop culture in many of the brand's designs, runway shows, and campaigns. The Moschino x Sims collection will be available at boutiques worldwide and online starting April 13. See the slightly trippy campaign ahead.
