Blake Lively's Met Gala Transformation Over the Years Is Worthy of Applause

To say that Blake Lively has gone through a wild style transformation would be an understatement. Over the 10 years that the 31-year-old beauty has attended the annual Met Gala, her outfits have transformed from a simple, safe black gown to an incredibly ornate ruby-and-gold Versace masterpiece that took 600 hours to create and required its own party bus to transport Blake to the gala. Talk about an upgrade! Her date of choice has also changed over the past decade, starting in 2008 with Penn Badgley (also known as Dan Humphrey, her Gossip Girl character's brief onscreen love interest) to her dashing husband, Ryan Reynolds. Never have we been more envious of an inanimate object than when Pedro Pascal stepped out in a sparkly cardigan this week.
