Elle Fanning Fainted at a Cannes Party Because of Her Dress, and We Feel Like Concerned Parents

There are things we do for fashion's sake: like wearing shoes that don't fit us properly or using bags that hurt our backs. But then there are things celebrities do for fashion, like fainting at the 2019 Cannes Film Festival.

Elle Fanning had an (very) unfortunate fashion mishap when she fainted at The Chopard Trophy event in Cannes because her Prada dress was too tight. She wrote on her Instagram, "Oops, had a fainting spell tonight in my 1950's Prada prom dress but it's all good!! #dresstootight #timeofthemonth." Her celebrity friends were quick to comment and wish her well - Adwoa Aboah told Elle, "Best dressed woman ever though!!!!" and Kiernan Shipka wrote, "you're a literal icon," which we can't argue with. Dedication at its finest.
