Kim Kardashian Brought a Heavy Dose of Sexy With Her Met Gala Dress - What'd You Expect?

Kim Kardashian brought a heavy dose of sexy to the Met Gala this year - I mean, did you expect anything less? The reality star and soon-to-be mother of four slipped into a neutral bodycon dress designed by one of her go-to designers as of late, Thierry Mugler. The first piece the French fashion mogul has designed in 20 years, Kim's dress showed off her famous curves in all their glory and was, quite literally, dripping in crystals.

At first glance, Kim's outfit choice may not look like it adheres to the Met Gala's Camp theme as much as other attendees' ensembles (*cough* Lady Gaga *cough*), but the inspiration behind it just might change your mind. Her dress was designed to pay homage to the scandalous wet dress her idol, Sophia Loren, wears in the 1957 flick Boy on a Dolphin, hence the water droplet-esque adornments. She made the just-emerged-from-the-water look all the more convincing by opting for wet-looking hair and glossy makeup. Pretty genius if you ask us!
