After Years of Searching, I Found Flattering High-Waisted Denim Shorts - and They're $49

I have always struggled when looking for high-waisted jean shorts that actually flatter my body. I'm a size 30/31 with a smaller waist and wider hips. Searching for a cut that smooths out my stomach, cinches my torso, and doesn't make by butt cheeks come out has always been a challenge. Usually, designs only tick off one of those boxes. That's until I decided to order these BDG Girlfriend High-Rise Denim Shorts ($49) from Urban Outfitters. They looked like the perfect fit for me, and OMG, I was so right.

These cutoffs fit true to size and fulfill all my wishes. I even feel confident enough to wear a crop top with them. I loved my first pair so much, I also ordered them in a black wash. They don't bag out or stretch in weird places, so I don't have to worry about looking weird throughout the day. They also have a sturdy zipper that stays up - another huge plus.

If you're looking for a new shorts for Summer, I highly recommend this pair. To be honest, I'll probably get a third color as well. Scoop them up while they're still available!
