Your Childhood Light Up Sneakers Have Nothing on This Shimmering Miu Miu Pair

When I first played Miu Miu's new video for its shimmering Miu Monstar glitter sneakers, I was like, "Wait, is this the episode of Stranger Things I was watching last night?" The colorful '80s, retro-effect snippet puts the brand's latest release on display, and these kicks are probably the most dizzying pair I've ever laid eyes on. Seriously, childhood me would give up those old light-up sneaks immediately for a design like this, that's always shining bright. Coordinate them with a crystal-encrusted trench, like model Sofia Fanego does in the campaign, and you'll probably even stop traffic.

While the Miu Monstar collection also includes chunky sandals, camouflage lace-ups, and gemstone studded trainers, this new shoe is clearly going to rise to It item status. "The new selection of Miu Mon-Star sandals, sneakers, and boots in craquelé leather with distinctive oversize volumes reinterprets military style embellished with glitter and sparkling appliqués," the site reads. While not every Miu Monstar item is immediately shoppable, we have a feeling the fashion house will have them on street style stars in an instant, just for you to lust over on the 'gram. So save your next paycheck. I know I will.
