9 LatinX Celebs Defining Cool Style Right Now

Everything about fall is new, new, new. Whether it be the freshest trends of the season or shopping for all your back-to-school essentials, fall is all about turning over a new leaf and starting things fresh—in more ways than one. We're in need of a fresh dose of style inspiration for the new season, and with September marking Latinx Heritage Month, it felt like the perfect time to highlight the Latin American celebrities who are defining cool style right now.

These actresses, musicians, and activists have some of the most enviable wardrobes in the game. The below lineup includes established faces like Jennifer Lopez and Selena Gomez as well as rising stars we've recently put on our radar, but it's by no means a finite list of the Latinxs we love. Instead, the celebs we're highlighting here simply reflect those who we think have been nailing it in the style department lately. Okay, so J.Lo always nails it with whatever she does (that's a given), but how about Selma Hayek's underrated accessory game or MJ Rodriguez's drop-dead gorgeous red carpet looks? Read on for your download of the most stylish Latinx celebs.

Churning out hit single after hit single, Camila Cabello has been the rising star on everyone's lips. Earlier this year, she displayed her next-level style on the Grammy's red carpet in a long-sleeve pink sequin gown and we haven't stopped thinking about it since.
If you've been reading Who What Wear for a while now, you're probably well-versed on all things Selena Gomez's style (we're huge fans, can you tell?). She's always nailed it, but lately, she's really been stepping up her red carpet style game, serving up A+ look after look.
You didn't think we'd leave out J.Lo, did you? The queen of bold style continues to solidify herself as a modern-day style icon (often leaving us in complete awe) each time she steps out the door. Most recently, she nearly broke the internet by walking the Versace S/S 20 runway in that iconic gown from the 2002 Grammy's.
You'll recognize Dascha Polanco for her role as Daya on Orange is the New Black, but when she's not donning her standard-issue scrubs on the show, she's showing up to industry events in some of the chicest looks out there. We're particularly obsessed with the faux leather wrap dress she wore above—a fashion girl favorite and major Fall 2019 trend.
Also available in more sizes.
If you tuned into the 2019 Emmy Awards on Sunday night, you'd immediately be able to I.D. MJ Rodriguez as the star in the stunning pink bow-embellished ballgown. This red carpet look alone got people talking, so we have a feeling the Pose actress is only getting started...
Between her breakout roles in Mid90s and Euphoria, Alexa Demie is undoubtedly having a moment. The 24-year-old star has a strong sense of personal style that we're kind of obsessed with—she keeps '90s-inspired trends and cool-girl brands like I.Am.Gia on heavy rotation.
I don't think it would be dramatic to say that Zoe Saldana can do no wrong. Apart from slaying us with killer red carpet looks, the sci-fi action star and face of our April digital issue has also made it her mission to repair the flawed portrayals of Latinxs that still persist in the media with her platform Bese. And that, my friends, is a superheroine in the flesh.
We've long been fans of Selma Hayek's style both on and off-screen, but it's the latter that we're really in awe of. Hayek's wardrobe is filled with statement pieces and amazing accessories, including our dream array of Gucci shoes and bags. Those gold platforms though...
Genre-defying singer Kali Uchis is a whole mood. Her R&B-infused, pop-like tunes exude cool confidence just as much as her epic on-stage outfits do. She's decidedly anti-trend and instead, she advises, “Do you. Wear what you want to wear. Be an individual. Be unique and live your best life.”

Next up: See which trends all the cool New Yorkers will be wearing in six months.

I Tried the Viral One-Leg Jeans, and I Got Plenty of Stares

If you're into fashion and an avid TikTok scroller, you've probably come across the viral and somewhat controversial Coperni one-leg jeans . People who got their hands on them are asking followers how they should style them - and even whether or not they should keep them. Those who are still on a waitlist or are simply curious about the trend are going so far as to DIY the jeans by taking a scissor to one leg of an old pair. I, on the other hand, dared to step into the Romeo Hunte Black One Leg Pant ($232, originally $725), an alternative take on the same silhouette that's even more eye-catching (which, how is that possible?). These jeans were, without a doubt, one of the most polarizing looks I've ever worn - and I've tried some pretty divisive clothing, from Skims butt-enhancing shapewear to the brand's famous push-up nipple bra , and many a sheer naked dress . After wearing the jeans around town to run errands and obviously attracting some attention (st...

Oh, to Be Pedro Pascal's Sparkly Cardigan

Never have we been more envious of an inanimate object than when Pedro Pascal stepped out in a sparkly cardigan this week. As soon as we saw him walking the streets of London wearing the glittery knit, we longed to swap places with it - to be enrobing the heartthrob, catching the attention of random passersby, sparking internet discourse, and ultimately taking responsibility for his style breakout. Pascal has been serving look after look while promoting " The Last of Us " season one and "The Mandalorian" season three this year, working with stylists Julie Ragolia and Fabio Immediato . His latest came on Feb. 23 when he arrived to a radio interview wearing the shiny cardigan in question: a long button-down sweater made of silver foil yarn and created by menswear label 4SDesigns. He layered it over a sheer brown tank top and finished the look with black pants, leather boots, and his usual chunky-framed glasses. Just one day prior, the actor stopped by a photo call...
