Disney Princesses Would Be Big Fans of the Romantic Puff-Sleeve Dress Trend

The puff-sleeve dress trend is hands down one of the biggest trends to come out of 2019. I've completely fallen head over heels in love with this trend because it's easy, statement-making, and takes minimal effort to style. While the trend has been making headway for some time now, we've seen these sleeves become bigger and bolder during this Fashion Week season. Case in point? Cecilie Bahnsen's show during Copenhagen Fashion Week was full of ethereal designs with puff sleeves that can only be described as swoon-worthy. Other designers like Johanna Ortiz, Silvia Tcherassi, and Staud have followed suit with this dreamy detail.

When I look at the trend, I can't help but think of certain Disney princesses. The silhouette reminds me of the iconic blue gown Cinderella wore to the ball. Even The Little Mermaid's Ariel wore a stunning, white puff-sleeve gown for her wedding to Prince Eric in the movie. It's no wonder I feel so regal whenever I wear one!
