11 Pieces I Always Get Compliments on Just Went on Sale at Net-a-Porter

Net-a-Porter just dropped an epic new sale, meaning right now is the perfect time to place an order for the pieces sitting in your cart. Whether you’re ready to get a head start on your holiday shopping or finally buy those pieces you’ve been eyeing for the last few months, now is the time. Here’s what you need to know: The sale is running now through December 9 and includes up to 50% off selected items across the site.

If you’re looking for recommendations on what to buy, ahead I’m highlighting 11 of the best pieces I’ve added to my closet this year and always get compliments on, which all happen to be part of Net-a-Porter's sale. From the dress that hits on one of 2020’s biggest trends and the jeans Who What Wear editors all swear by to the perfect holiday dress and the swimsuits to pack for your next vacation, you can’t go wrong with any of these finds. Here, see how I’m wearing them, and shop my edit of the best pieces to buy from Net-a-Porter’s latest sale.

This Matteau dress is a recent addition to my wardrobe but definitely one of my favorite pieces in my closet right now. It's versatile enough to wear anywhere from the beach to the office or a dinner party, so I've been wearing on repeat. Plus, the long, flowy silhouette is destined to be one of the biggest trends in 2020 and is something I would put my money behind all over again.
I bought this Reformation top earlier this year and love the Marie Antoinette vibes it gives off between the romantic floral print and corset-inspired silhouette. With lingerie pieces on the rise, indicated by the S/S 20 runway shows, this is 100% something you should add to your shopping cart. And yes, it's absolutely perfect for a date night.
If you're looking for the perfect jeans, you'll want to try out this pinch-waist style from Agolde. Practically every fashion editor on our team owns these and loves them for their high-rise fit and straight-leg cut. If you walk into the Who What Wear offices any day, you're guaranteed to see someone wearing them.
While the black version of this Nanushka trench is sold out, the tan one is still available. Since I ordered mine, it has become my ultimate outerwear staple for layering over jeans and a T-shirt.
If you're on the hunt for a dress to wear to your holiday parties, look no further. This metallic dress from Rotate is stunning and extremely comfortable. I've been eyeing the burgundy version for months.
I get so many questions about the puffy-sleeve button-down top from Totême I'm wearing here, but it sold out a long time ago. I noticed that Khaite has a very similar version (recently spotted on Katie Holmes), and it just went on sale. This is a cool take on a wardrobe staple you'll want to wear again and again.
If you're looking for a bikini you'll have in your closet for years, this is the one to invest in. It has clean, classic lines that will simply never go out of style, and you can see the quality in the fabric and construction. The plunging top is the perfect shape for anyone who has a bigger bust. Of all of the bikinis I own, this Matteau one is my absolute favorite, and I couldn't recommend it more.
Even though I love bikinis, one-piece swimsuits are my typical uniform at the beach. This one from Tory Burch reminds me of a style my mom wore in the '90s. I'm wearing a black version here but might need to spring for this emerald one now that it's on sale.
I added this Cult Gaia top to my wardrobe over the summer for a trip to Italy and love every detail, from the ties at the front to the puffy sleeves. I didn't realize it also comes in this gorgeous orange shade.
It's probably clear at this point that Australian brand Matteau makes up a solid part of my wardrobe. Here, another flowy dress that is the perfect piece to wear on a beach vacation.

I Tried the Viral One-Leg Jeans, and I Got Plenty of Stares

If you're into fashion and an avid TikTok scroller, you've probably come across the viral and somewhat controversial Coperni one-leg jeans . People who got their hands on them are asking followers how they should style them - and even whether or not they should keep them. Those who are still on a waitlist or are simply curious about the trend are going so far as to DIY the jeans by taking a scissor to one leg of an old pair. I, on the other hand, dared to step into the Romeo Hunte Black One Leg Pant ($232, originally $725), an alternative take on the same silhouette that's even more eye-catching (which, how is that possible?). These jeans were, without a doubt, one of the most polarizing looks I've ever worn - and I've tried some pretty divisive clothing, from Skims butt-enhancing shapewear to the brand's famous push-up nipple bra , and many a sheer naked dress . After wearing the jeans around town to run errands and obviously attracting some attention (st...

Oh, to Be Pedro Pascal's Sparkly Cardigan

Never have we been more envious of an inanimate object than when Pedro Pascal stepped out in a sparkly cardigan this week. As soon as we saw him walking the streets of London wearing the glittery knit, we longed to swap places with it - to be enrobing the heartthrob, catching the attention of random passersby, sparking internet discourse, and ultimately taking responsibility for his style breakout. Pascal has been serving look after look while promoting " The Last of Us " season one and "The Mandalorian" season three this year, working with stylists Julie Ragolia and Fabio Immediato . His latest came on Feb. 23 when he arrived to a radio interview wearing the shiny cardigan in question: a long button-down sweater made of silver foil yarn and created by menswear label 4SDesigns. He layered it over a sheer brown tank top and finished the look with black pants, leather boots, and his usual chunky-framed glasses. Just one day prior, the actor stopped by a photo call...
