I just did a major closet cleanout and I noticed that a few of the things I got rid of were various shades of deep red and burgundy. There was a point where I was wearing the deep shade alongside black, but now it strikes me as being a bit too somber.
I don't know why I ever forgot about true red. It's such a powerful color and one that always earns me compliments when I do wear it. True reds and bright poppy shades look great against my skin tone, too, which is always a plus. You can bet I'll be adding more of these vibrant reds to my closet it 2020.
