So, Models Also Wear These Basic Travel Items at the Airport

While you may have a go-to travel uniform, a little outfit inspiration doesn’t hurt to keep that airport look feeling fresh. And for those forward ideas, we tend to turn to celebrities in particular. Interestingly enough, when it comes to the supermodel set, we realized that they’ve especially mastered the fashion meets function airport ensemble by incorporating stylish yet comfortable basics.

Yes, many of the staples in question just so happen to be essentials that we all often wear in our travel rotations as well. To get a better sense of what we mean, we pulled together a range of recent airport outfits from top models like Elsa Hosk, Cindy Crawford, and Jasmine Tookes that feature versatile basics. Keep scrolling for more visual and shopping intel and get inspired to style your favorite airport basics in a new way for your upcoming holiday travel.

On Elsa Hosk: Chanel tee; Prada bag. While we all (models included) incorporate a variety of different basic outerwear styles into our travel fits, the oversized blazer is ramping up to be a new go-to staple because it brings a sophisticated spin to a look while still remaining comfortable given the roomier silhouette.
On Elle Macpherson: Hermès bag. Non-stretch skinnies aren’t the most functional denim choice for those long-hauls. But slightly looser straight-leg blues? Well, talk about a jean cut that’s ideal for all of us.
On Ashley Graham: Adidas sneakers. If there’s one travel basic that’s universally adored by models (and everyone else), it’s a pair of black leggings for extreme comfort.
On Jasmine Tookes: Away The Bigger Carry-On ($245); Chanel flats. Stilettos are clearly a no-go for comfy travel, but timeless flats? Talk about a staple footwear choice. The beauty of a pair in a natural hue is they can be paired with any look—including this cozy burnt orange ensemble here.
Who: Cindy Crawford. Okay, there are many spot-on pieces in this ensemble (straight jeans, trench coat, and flats included), but we wanted to call out the white tee, in particular, because it truly is one of the most basic essentials that can work as the base layer to any airport vibe.
On Bella Hadid: Magda Butrym jacket; Ralph Lauren bag; Converse Chuck Taylor Sneakers ($50). If you’re not feeling flats (like above), sneakers are probably your go-to for comfy shoes. While lace-ups great, slip-ons are also a smart idea to be able to slip them on and off easily through security or on the plane.
On Alessandra Ambrosio: Celine bag. A classic leather jacket is not only practical (ideal for layering), but that go-to find will bring an instantly-cool twist to even the most standard ensemble.

I Tried the Viral One-Leg Jeans, and I Got Plenty of Stares

If you're into fashion and an avid TikTok scroller, you've probably come across the viral and somewhat controversial Coperni one-leg jeans . People who got their hands on them are asking followers how they should style them - and even whether or not they should keep them. Those who are still on a waitlist or are simply curious about the trend are going so far as to DIY the jeans by taking a scissor to one leg of an old pair. I, on the other hand, dared to step into the Romeo Hunte Black One Leg Pant ($232, originally $725), an alternative take on the same silhouette that's even more eye-catching (which, how is that possible?). These jeans were, without a doubt, one of the most polarizing looks I've ever worn - and I've tried some pretty divisive clothing, from Skims butt-enhancing shapewear to the brand's famous push-up nipple bra , and many a sheer naked dress . After wearing the jeans around town to run errands and obviously attracting some attention (st...

Oh, to Be Pedro Pascal's Sparkly Cardigan

Never have we been more envious of an inanimate object than when Pedro Pascal stepped out in a sparkly cardigan this week. As soon as we saw him walking the streets of London wearing the glittery knit, we longed to swap places with it - to be enrobing the heartthrob, catching the attention of random passersby, sparking internet discourse, and ultimately taking responsibility for his style breakout. Pascal has been serving look after look while promoting " The Last of Us " season one and "The Mandalorian" season three this year, working with stylists Julie Ragolia and Fabio Immediato . His latest came on Feb. 23 when he arrived to a radio interview wearing the shiny cardigan in question: a long button-down sweater made of silver foil yarn and created by menswear label 4SDesigns. He layered it over a sheer brown tank top and finished the look with black pants, leather boots, and his usual chunky-framed glasses. Just one day prior, the actor stopped by a photo call...
