This time last year, we couldn't bat an eyelash without seeing one of the fuzzy-trimmed Saks Potts toppers that ignited the trend, but now that there are dozens of new options from your favorite retailers, expect the style to only get more and more notorious.

For those of us who live in seriously cold winter climates, a puffer coat isn't merely a fashion choice; it's a straight-up necessity.
