I Wear White T-Shirts Constantly—These are My Favorite Outfit Ideas

I don't think it would be an exaggeration to say that my white T-shirts are the most worn items in my entire closet. They're the building blocks of my wardrobe and what I reach for any time I'm zapped of inspiration. I mean, name a basic that's more useful, versatile, and timeless than a classic white cotton T-shirt. (Mhm, I'll wait.)

The weird part is, I wear mine constantly and yet I'm somehow always lacking in ways to wear them, which means that more often than not, I end up repeating the same combination of jeans and a tee over and over again. I have nothing against that combo (honestly I live in it), but more often than not I feel lazy if I can't come up with anything new. To combat this outfit fatigue, I keep a saved folder of all my favorite ideas and regularly reference it when I'm feeling particularly uninspired.

Lately, this folder has been seeing a lot of fresh white T-shirt outfits that I plan on copying ASAP (okay, I've copied some of them already) and I felt like the ideas I've amassed were too good not to share. Everyone loves a good white tee, that's a fact. I'm just here to help you put yours to good use. Scroll down to see my favorite white T-shirt outfits on celebs, fashion girls, and street style stars and then shop pieces to recreate each look.

Here, Bella Hadid schools us in the power of great wardrobe basics. Tailored trousers, a leather blazer, and Converse sneakers all come together to make an easygoing airport look. On Bella Hadid: Magda Butrym Ottawa Blazer; Dries van Noten Cuffed Pants; Ralph Lauren RL50 Bag ($2750); BY FAR Amber Bag ($715); Converse High-Top Sneakers ($55); Dmy by Dmy Olsen Sunglasses ($130)
There's nothing better than an eye-catching jacket to earn your style points. Right now, I'm really into a leather shirt jacket worn open over jeans and a white tee.
If you, like me, reach for jeans and a tee nearly every day, I highly recommend going for a chain belt. Throw it on and suddenly your easygoing outfit is a full look.
I love the idea of tying my T-shirt in a knot to show off just a bit of midriff. With plaid trousers and old-school oxfords, it's an interesting play on preppy style.
This look is proof that just because you're wearing a white T-shirt doesn't mean your outfit is automatically casual. A structured blazer and of-the-moment pleated skirt add sophistication to the wardrobe basic.
When I eventually tire of my jeans I always try and reach for a statement pant and right now a snakeskin print feels especially fresh. For the colder months, throw a polished coat on over the whole thing to finish it off.
Lean into neutral tones by pairing a boxy white tee with beige trousers and go for a statement heel like leopard print to really pop.
Blue jeans and a white tee—it doesn't get any more classic than that. To add some dimension to the look, I like to anchor the pieces with coordinating accessories like a leather belt and sleek ankle boots.

I Tried the Viral One-Leg Jeans, and I Got Plenty of Stares

If you're into fashion and an avid TikTok scroller, you've probably come across the viral and somewhat controversial Coperni one-leg jeans . People who got their hands on them are asking followers how they should style them - and even whether or not they should keep them. Those who are still on a waitlist or are simply curious about the trend are going so far as to DIY the jeans by taking a scissor to one leg of an old pair. I, on the other hand, dared to step into the Romeo Hunte Black One Leg Pant ($232, originally $725), an alternative take on the same silhouette that's even more eye-catching (which, how is that possible?). These jeans were, without a doubt, one of the most polarizing looks I've ever worn - and I've tried some pretty divisive clothing, from Skims butt-enhancing shapewear to the brand's famous push-up nipple bra , and many a sheer naked dress . After wearing the jeans around town to run errands and obviously attracting some attention (st...

Oh, to Be Pedro Pascal's Sparkly Cardigan

Never have we been more envious of an inanimate object than when Pedro Pascal stepped out in a sparkly cardigan this week. As soon as we saw him walking the streets of London wearing the glittery knit, we longed to swap places with it - to be enrobing the heartthrob, catching the attention of random passersby, sparking internet discourse, and ultimately taking responsibility for his style breakout. Pascal has been serving look after look while promoting " The Last of Us " season one and "The Mandalorian" season three this year, working with stylists Julie Ragolia and Fabio Immediato . His latest came on Feb. 23 when he arrived to a radio interview wearing the shiny cardigan in question: a long button-down sweater made of silver foil yarn and created by menswear label 4SDesigns. He layered it over a sheer brown tank top and finished the look with black pants, leather boots, and his usual chunky-framed glasses. Just one day prior, the actor stopped by a photo call...
