The Best Skinny Jeans for Short Girls, According to (You Guessed It) Short Girls

Denim shopping is tricky, but it's even trickier for petite girls. Finding a pair that looks good, fits proportionately to each part of your body, and is actually comfortable is the nearly impossible trifecta. You always end up sacrificing one aspect.

We here at WWW feel your pain, which is why we decided to poll our Who What Wear Insiders Facebook group to find out the shopping secrets of our readers. (If you haven't already joined Who What Wear Insiders, it's a private FB group to chat about all things fashion and get insider tips from our editors and fellow readers.) Members of our group shared their favorite petite denim brands, and we've outlined them below for your shopping pleasure. Keep reading to see and shop the 15 best skinny jeans for short girls, according to fellow short girls.

Madewell's denim has a major cult following and has earned huge points with petite shoppers. "I've had pretty good luck with most Madewell jeans if you get them in short. Also if you're an insider, they tailor them for free," says one of our WWW Insiders. "Madewell offers petite and free hemming in stores!" raves another member. Its wallet-friendly price points are also a great bonus.

I love the button-fly detail.
This color is so vibrant.
The perfect winter jeans.

Express is one of the most beloved mall brands, but who knew they had such great petite denim? With inseam options ranging from 27 to 32 inches, its denim selection has quite the offering. "I like the Express short line. I'm 4'9" so I have to take them to the tailor either way, but they'd be perfect on someone like 5'0" to 5'3"," reveals one of our FB group members.

Everyone needs a pair of black skinnies in their closet.
Another closet staple.

Good American is already known for its size-inclusive line of chic denim, but it also offers an amazing petite selection. "Good American (any of their crops)—I'm 5'/5'1" and their Good Waist Crops hit my ankle at a perfect length!" raves a WWW Insider.

These just look comfortable.
The perfect inky indigo blue.
The raw hem makes these feel a bit cooler than your average skinny jeans.

Another popular retailer with a great petite denim selection is Topshop. A lot of its best-selling styles are available in both a standard and petite inseam option. Our insiders particularly like the Joni style from Topshop.

These hug your body perfectly.
I love a good retro wash.
The outfit possibilities with faded black skinnies are endless.

One insider states: "I'm short and small. I LOVEEEEEE Lucky Brand. They are miracle jeans! They fit perfectly!" Need we say more?

This style comes in a range of inseams from 27 to 33 inches.
They also come in black.
This wash is so timeless.

I Tried the Viral One-Leg Jeans, and I Got Plenty of Stares

If you're into fashion and an avid TikTok scroller, you've probably come across the viral and somewhat controversial Coperni one-leg jeans . People who got their hands on them are asking followers how they should style them - and even whether or not they should keep them. Those who are still on a waitlist or are simply curious about the trend are going so far as to DIY the jeans by taking a scissor to one leg of an old pair. I, on the other hand, dared to step into the Romeo Hunte Black One Leg Pant ($232, originally $725), an alternative take on the same silhouette that's even more eye-catching (which, how is that possible?). These jeans were, without a doubt, one of the most polarizing looks I've ever worn - and I've tried some pretty divisive clothing, from Skims butt-enhancing shapewear to the brand's famous push-up nipple bra , and many a sheer naked dress . After wearing the jeans around town to run errands and obviously attracting some attention (st...

Oh, to Be Pedro Pascal's Sparkly Cardigan

Never have we been more envious of an inanimate object than when Pedro Pascal stepped out in a sparkly cardigan this week. As soon as we saw him walking the streets of London wearing the glittery knit, we longed to swap places with it - to be enrobing the heartthrob, catching the attention of random passersby, sparking internet discourse, and ultimately taking responsibility for his style breakout. Pascal has been serving look after look while promoting " The Last of Us " season one and "The Mandalorian" season three this year, working with stylists Julie Ragolia and Fabio Immediato . His latest came on Feb. 23 when he arrived to a radio interview wearing the shiny cardigan in question: a long button-down sweater made of silver foil yarn and created by menswear label 4SDesigns. He layered it over a sheer brown tank top and finished the look with black pants, leather boots, and his usual chunky-framed glasses. Just one day prior, the actor stopped by a photo call...
