Netflix's and Hulu's television selections are missing a true icon of the '90s: The Nanny. Not only was Fran Fine one of the most lovable characters on the small screen, but her bold style was nothing short amazing. With her piano-print dress, neon matching sets, and excellent headbands, she arguably paved the way for another out-there dresser who came five years after The Nanny first premiered: Carrie Bradshaw of Sex and the City. 

Of course, one of Fran's signature pieces was the miniskirt. In winter, she wore them with tights and knee-high boots—a combo that's still going strong a whopping 25 years later. Honestly, most of her wardrobe would look right at home in 2020, which is why we decided to do a little retrospective on her chicest outfit ideas. Never have we been more envious of an inanimate object than when Pedro Pascal stepped out in a sparkly cardigan this week. As soon as we saw him walking the streets of London wearing the glittery knit, we longed to swap places with it - to be enrobing the heartthrob, catching the attention of random passersby, sparking internet discourse, and ultimately taking responsibility for his style breakout.
