10 Trends Everyone Will Wear to Concerts From Now On

If you've been to any type of concert at any point over the past decade, you probably know that the people watching has become almost as entertaining as the musical performance, as people really put effort into what they wear to the event. Just look at Coachella, which has become as much about fashion as it is about music, like it or not.

Now that the new year (and decade) is in full swing, we're thinking ahead to how concert style will evolve, and we're starting by highlighting the new trends that will inevitably be worn by many a concertgoer in the near future. We mulled through all of the current trends and landed on 10 that are ripe for concert attending, so whether you're currently a proud ticketholder to the upcoming Billie Eilish or Harry Styles tours, one of the many music festivals, or a local act, at least one of these 10 trends is bound to be your ticket to concert outfit success.

With that, keep scrolling to shop the trends you'll soon see at every concert.

Orange is the bold color currently taking the fashion world by storm (for lack of a better expression), and it just so happens to be perfect for standing out among a sea of concertgoers.

On Rihanna: Fenty Trench-Inspired Parka ($1660), Turtleneck Knit Mini Dress ($960), and Parachute Boots 105 ($670)

The '70s are back and so are the platform shoes that came along with them. (While this shoe trend is pretty comfortable, we'd avoid wearing platforms to an outdoor concert or one where you'll be standing for hours.)

On Emma Roberts: Levi's jeans; Prada Frame Bag ($1970)

Lingerie-inspired looks were all over the S/S 20 runways, and while bra tops may not be the best choice for, say, the office, they're certainly a fun option for a night out at a concert.

On Kendall Jenner: Paris Georgia Bella Bra ($225); By Far Mini Rachel Bag ($258); Re/Done jeans; Nike Air Force 1 '07 Sneakers ($90)

Netted pieces may not be functional but they're certainly cool enough to wear to a music festival. Try layering this & Other Stories dress over a swimsuit, jeans, or a slip dress.

On Irina Shayk: Burberry coat, dress, nag, and shoes

A vest is a great way to add some personality to your outfit, and they come in many forms, from utility to crochet to tailored. They're cooler than ever this season.

On Bella Hadid: Tatras x Riot Hill outfit; Dorateymur shoes

Baseball caps are poised to be one of S/S 20's biggest accessory trends. Bonus: There are tons of affordable options on the market. (And they're great for shielding your face from the sun at outdoor concerts.)

On Vanessa Hudgens: Prada Nylon Belt Bag ($820); Paris Texas Mock Croc High Boots ($542)

There are few things in life more festive than sequins, and what better time to bust them out than a concert?

WHO: Tracee Ellis Ross

Everything from the '90s is new again, including tube tops. While EmRata's is quite ornate, a simple tube top still makes a big impact no matter what it's paired with.

WHO: Emily Ratajkowski

Crochet is an obvious choice for music festivals but black crochet, in particular, can also look night-out worthy.

WHO: Jourdan Dunn

While still controversial, low-rise trousers have been making a comeback. Just follow Bella Hadid's lead and opt or a trouser-style pair that's slouchy as opposed to tight.

On Bella Hadid: Louis Vuitton coat, top, pants, and boots

Next up, 6 going-out pieces that feel outdated.

I Tried the Viral One-Leg Jeans, and I Got Plenty of Stares

If you're into fashion and an avid TikTok scroller, you've probably come across the viral and somewhat controversial Coperni one-leg jeans . People who got their hands on them are asking followers how they should style them - and even whether or not they should keep them. Those who are still on a waitlist or are simply curious about the trend are going so far as to DIY the jeans by taking a scissor to one leg of an old pair. I, on the other hand, dared to step into the Romeo Hunte Black One Leg Pant ($232, originally $725), an alternative take on the same silhouette that's even more eye-catching (which, how is that possible?). These jeans were, without a doubt, one of the most polarizing looks I've ever worn - and I've tried some pretty divisive clothing, from Skims butt-enhancing shapewear to the brand's famous push-up nipple bra , and many a sheer naked dress . After wearing the jeans around town to run errands and obviously attracting some attention (st...

Oh, to Be Pedro Pascal's Sparkly Cardigan

Never have we been more envious of an inanimate object than when Pedro Pascal stepped out in a sparkly cardigan this week. As soon as we saw him walking the streets of London wearing the glittery knit, we longed to swap places with it - to be enrobing the heartthrob, catching the attention of random passersby, sparking internet discourse, and ultimately taking responsibility for his style breakout. Pascal has been serving look after look while promoting " The Last of Us " season one and "The Mandalorian" season three this year, working with stylists Julie Ragolia and Fabio Immediato . His latest came on Feb. 23 when he arrived to a radio interview wearing the shiny cardigan in question: a long button-down sweater made of silver foil yarn and created by menswear label 4SDesigns. He layered it over a sheer brown tank top and finished the look with black pants, leather boots, and his usual chunky-framed glasses. Just one day prior, the actor stopped by a photo call...
