We love our denim and don't plan to part ways from it anytime soon (or ever), but let's face it, we all fall back on our favorite jeans quite often. They're the backbones of our wardrobe, but rely on them too much and they turn into a low-key style crutch, making it hard to be innovative with our style. To avoid getting into such a rut, we've taken it upon ourselves to inject your outfit rotation with a massive dose of newness for the season ahead, and our stylish readers are providing the combos to (hopefully) inspire you the next time you wonder what to wear instead of jeans.

What makes the ideal non-denim 'fit, you ask? Well, since we rely on jeans as the base to those brainless outfits, we sourced the same kind looks that are just as easy to throw on as jeans but will have you looking and feeling like you put in a lot more effort than you did. Thanks to effortlessly cool pieces like breezy smock dresses and on-trend trench coats, the following spring looks are about to save you so much time and effort when getting dressed.

This spring, the essential transitional-weather trench coat is actually one of the trendiest things you can pick. We love it worn over an all-neutral outfit base like Danie did here with a roll-neck and trousers.
It doesn't get comfier (or cooler) than an oversize smock dress. The dress silhouette feels very current but is conveniently one of the easiest options. Make like Lotte did and pair yours with a baguette bag and retro sneakers.
Clearly, we're feeling the trench-coat look right now because we also have this outfit saved to our "looks to try" folder. Renata cinched up the waist of her trench and wore it as a dress with polished accessories—genius.
One non-jean trend we're loving right now is loose, "grandpa" trousers, and as Soraya is showing us here, a vibrantly hued knit top is all you need to give them a spring-friendly refresh.
