Yep, Fashion Girls Wear These Affordable Brand As Much As Expensive Ones

True, true, fashion girls are often snapped wearing the latest impossible-to-get designer pieces that don’t exactly fit into most of our budgets. That being said, I’ve been spotting more and more affordable brands everywhere from the street style scene to Instagram. To me, this is proof that high/low dressing will always be cool and taps into the way I personally approach fashion. I don’t believe that wearing high-priced items translates to being well-dressed. Instead, I think it comes down to finding the right pieces and styling them in a cool way.

So, what are the cool, affordable brands fashion girls are embracing now? Ahead, I’m highlighting the ones I’ve spotted everywhere from the streets at Paris fashion week to the cool outfits Who What Wear’s editors are wearing to the office. Go on to shop the best affordable fashion brands that rival expensive ones.

A true fashion darling, you're bound to spot Frankie Shop everywhere on the street style scene at fashion month, sprinkled in amongst cool designer pieces. I ordered these shorts last month (and wore them here) and I'm a huge fan.
This year, sweatsuits have been spotted on practically every fashion insider—whether at the airport or walking into a runway show. A favorite brand for those wearing one? Entireworld.
Yep, at this point it's been established that Dr. Martens are an essential part of the fashion girl uniform. If you already own their classic boots, you might want to consider their oxfords as well.
While not everything from Staud is super affordable, I always recommend their bags to anyone looking for one hitting around a $300 price point. With forward shapes and luxe finishes like faux croc, you can't go wrong.
Chunky jewelry is huge for 2020 and Laura Lombardi is designing pieces that are perfect if you're on a budget. Another great reason to support the designer? The sustainable pieces are handcrafted from a mix of reclaimed and recycled materials.
Called me biased, but I think Who What Wear Collection has incredible pieces—especially the newly-launched shoes I can't wait to get in my possession. All of the pieces on on-trend, look luxe, and hit at seriously amazing price points.
If you don't already know about House of Sunny, get ready to see it everywhere. The London-based brand has playful designs and colors that inject some fun into fashion girls' wardrobes.
If you're looking for clothing that hits on all of the current trends without making a huge investment, look to Choosy. I wore a top from them last year (sadly now sold out) and got a million DMs about it.
While prices just under $300 may not sound extremely affordable, I'm including Porte & Paire here because they manage to hit on all of the coolest shoe trends of the moment while executing seriously high-quality products. Just look to our senior fashion editor Lauren Eggertsen who was quick to snap up a pair.
If you're looking for a going-out top, look no further than Are You Am I. With a collection of backless tie-top pieces and plunging bodysuits (and more), this is where fashion girls find their cool going-out pieces.

I Tried the Viral One-Leg Jeans, and I Got Plenty of Stares

If you're into fashion and an avid TikTok scroller, you've probably come across the viral and somewhat controversial Coperni one-leg jeans . People who got their hands on them are asking followers how they should style them - and even whether or not they should keep them. Those who are still on a waitlist or are simply curious about the trend are going so far as to DIY the jeans by taking a scissor to one leg of an old pair. I, on the other hand, dared to step into the Romeo Hunte Black One Leg Pant ($232, originally $725), an alternative take on the same silhouette that's even more eye-catching (which, how is that possible?). These jeans were, without a doubt, one of the most polarizing looks I've ever worn - and I've tried some pretty divisive clothing, from Skims butt-enhancing shapewear to the brand's famous push-up nipple bra , and many a sheer naked dress . After wearing the jeans around town to run errands and obviously attracting some attention (st...

Oh, to Be Pedro Pascal's Sparkly Cardigan

Never have we been more envious of an inanimate object than when Pedro Pascal stepped out in a sparkly cardigan this week. As soon as we saw him walking the streets of London wearing the glittery knit, we longed to swap places with it - to be enrobing the heartthrob, catching the attention of random passersby, sparking internet discourse, and ultimately taking responsibility for his style breakout. Pascal has been serving look after look while promoting " The Last of Us " season one and "The Mandalorian" season three this year, working with stylists Julie Ragolia and Fabio Immediato . His latest came on Feb. 23 when he arrived to a radio interview wearing the shiny cardigan in question: a long button-down sweater made of silver foil yarn and created by menswear label 4SDesigns. He layered it over a sheer brown tank top and finished the look with black pants, leather boots, and his usual chunky-framed glasses. Just one day prior, the actor stopped by a photo call...
