10 Sandal Brands Our Editors Have Been Wearing for Years (and Still Love)

Spring is in full swing, and summer is just about one month out, which means there’s a good chance that if you’re shopping for fashion items right now, then sandals are at the top of your list. Sure, there are a handful of other warm-weather essentials one should definitely have handy right now, but footwear is really the foundation of an outfit, and no matter how perfect the top half of your summer ’fit is, if you’re stuck pairing it with boots, well, I’m not sure how much it counts.

To help you out (both this summer and next), today I decided to poll my colleagues on the sandal brands they’ve been wearing for years and recommend every chance they get. This way, you’ll not only have a trusty pair for this season, but you’ll likely want to hold on to them for the next time the temperatures rise, too. To read about and shop all 10 of the brands that made the cut, simply keep scrolling.

"Neous is my absolute favorite for heeled sandals. They're elegant, fashion-forward, and absolutely worth the money. I end up wearing my pairs from them so frequently that I have to remind myself to slow down lest I run them into the ground!"

"So technically, I haven't been wearing these for years, as our shoe line hasn't been out that long, but I wore these for months before they were released and continue to wear them so frequently I couldn't help but include them. The designs look way more expensive than they are, and I find they're comfortable enough for long walks through my neighborhood."

"I love Tibi's sandals so much because they always feel unique and special but are so wearable at the same time. Once you invest in a pair, you'll never want to get rid of it."

"By Far is one of my favorite sandal brands by a long shot. The brand makes bags and other shoe styles, but the sandals are really what put the name on the map. I love how simple yet striking the styles are, and you can always count on a new version of a cult favorite to come out each season. If you're looking for sleek sandals you can wear with everything this summer, do yourself a favor and buy a pair."

"Staud sandals are my favorite as of late. Its styles are definitely trendy without being too trendy, and some are even a little quirky, but they're all completely wearable. I also find them to be extremely comfortable (trust me—I've walked for miles in them) and well-made. Plus, the price point is better than many comparable brands."

"I'm a slides kind of guy, and I've been wearing classic silhouettes from Adidas for years. The Adilette style is so affordable and is the most comfortable pair of slides I own—even more so than some of the designer picks I have."

"I've probably worn these Soludos sandals hundreds of times over the years. They're super comfortable, easy to slide on and off (which is crucial), and they truly go with everything because they're neutral. I own them in both brown and white."

"Accessories brand Studio Amelia designs the perfect minimal sandals, ranging from flats to strappy heels that fit perfectly into my wardrobe. What I love most is they're casual enough to wear with swimwear but can also be dressed up."

"No matter what shoe trends come and go, I continue to be obsessed with Birkenstocks. Not only are they super comfortable, but they're also really easy to wear with shorts, jeans, and dresses alike. You can't go wrong with the original Arizona Soft Slides, and I'm loving the cool new colors and chic updated details (such as big buckles) that they've been coming out with lately."

"Ancient Greek Sandals makes the dreamiest minimal-style sandals that I end up wearing on repeat summer after summer and on many a beach vacation because so many of its styles simply go with everything. That, and they're made from quality materials, so they really will last for years to come."

I Tried the Viral One-Leg Jeans, and I Got Plenty of Stares

If you're into fashion and an avid TikTok scroller, you've probably come across the viral and somewhat controversial Coperni one-leg jeans . People who got their hands on them are asking followers how they should style them - and even whether or not they should keep them. Those who are still on a waitlist or are simply curious about the trend are going so far as to DIY the jeans by taking a scissor to one leg of an old pair. I, on the other hand, dared to step into the Romeo Hunte Black One Leg Pant ($232, originally $725), an alternative take on the same silhouette that's even more eye-catching (which, how is that possible?). These jeans were, without a doubt, one of the most polarizing looks I've ever worn - and I've tried some pretty divisive clothing, from Skims butt-enhancing shapewear to the brand's famous push-up nipple bra , and many a sheer naked dress . After wearing the jeans around town to run errands and obviously attracting some attention (st...

Oh, to Be Pedro Pascal's Sparkly Cardigan

Never have we been more envious of an inanimate object than when Pedro Pascal stepped out in a sparkly cardigan this week. As soon as we saw him walking the streets of London wearing the glittery knit, we longed to swap places with it - to be enrobing the heartthrob, catching the attention of random passersby, sparking internet discourse, and ultimately taking responsibility for his style breakout. Pascal has been serving look after look while promoting " The Last of Us " season one and "The Mandalorian" season three this year, working with stylists Julie Ragolia and Fabio Immediato . His latest came on Feb. 23 when he arrived to a radio interview wearing the shiny cardigan in question: a long button-down sweater made of silver foil yarn and created by menswear label 4SDesigns. He layered it over a sheer brown tank top and finished the look with black pants, leather boots, and his usual chunky-framed glasses. Just one day prior, the actor stopped by a photo call...
