You never could've predicted that whimsical, milkmaid-style minis and midis would be the dress style that got the most airtime during the lockdown, but as it turns out, people can't get enough of the puff. Far from being a fussy, high-maintenance style, this frock's free-flowing fit has won us over by the fact that it can be thrown on at a moment's notice with minimal faff. Whether it's heading to the supermarket, working from home, or Zooming your friends, you know this dress will be there for your every need. 

There has been one high-street style in particular that has caught my eye over the last week, and that's H&M's white mini. Featuring a flattering square neckline, a tiered skirt, and puffed sleeves, it's exactly the sort of thing I want to be wearing as the mercury rises. It would look so cute with chunky sandals and a tan bag now, then with lace-up boots and a trench coat on cooler days.  

Best of all, this little white number comes in at a budget-friendly $30, which is good news for those of us watching our bank balance but also means it won't be around for long. Never have we been more envious of an inanimate object than when Pedro Pascal stepped out in a sparkly cardigan this week.
