Calling It: These 5 Fall Trends Will Still Be Relevant in 2021

Don't get me wrong, I love a good trendy buy as much as the next person, but this year I'm especially focused on building a wardrobe that will last well beyond the current season. With so much uncertainty this year, it feels more important than ever to look ahead at at the trends that will be relevant now and still work well in a year (or more) from now. Long-term investment buys and building a wardrobe that of fewer but better quality pieces is top of mind.

Looking ahead to fall, I'm thinking about what I want to wear in the next few months and what I'll still want to wear well into 2021, too. I've come to the conclusion that the following five classic fall trends are some of the reliable styles that I won't regret later on.

Never have we been more envious of an inanimate object than when Pedro Pascal stepped out in a sparkly cardigan this week. As soon as we saw him walking the streets of London wearing the glittery knit, we longed to swap places with it - to be enrobing the heartthrob, catching the attention of random passersby, sparking internet discourse, and ultimately taking responsibility for his style breakout.
