Emma Roberts Wore Summer's Most Comfortable Dress Trend With Ankle Boots

Emma Roberts and her chic street style are back to grace us with another trend, and it's perhaps the most comfortable trend at that: a knit maxi dress. I'll be the first to admit that I'm not always keen on knit maxi dresses, as they feel a little sloppy and shapeless to me, but Roberts's short-sleeve version with a subtle empire waist feels pretty and polished (especially when paired with ankle boots as opposed to, say, flip-flops).

Oversize baby-doll dresses have certainly been the number one dress trend since last year, but you don't see maxi-dress iterations as commonly as short ones. Never have we been more envious of an inanimate object than when Pedro Pascal stepped out in a sparkly cardigan this week.
