If You Didn’t Think Sweatshorts Were Stylish, Bella Hadid Just Proved You Wrong

Sweatshorts: the unexpected trend everyone lost it over in 2020. When things got too hot for sweatpants but no one wanted to give up on the cozy feeling they comforted us with day in and day out, the shorts version of sweatpants came out of nowhere and now, many brands have followed suit and started making their own versions. But in case you thought they were just sloppy loungewear, think again. Late last week, Bella Hadid stepped out in NYC in a characteristically cool sweatshorts outfit, which she may or may not have been going to play tennis in.

So what made Hadid's casual sweatshorts outfit so damn stylish? Well, a few things. She paired them with the matching sweatshirt and a crop top, and as you know, a matching set equals outfit success. And per usual with Hadid, she completed the look with a plethora of cool accessories, in this case, crew socks, New Balance sneakers, a scrunchie, shades, a designer duffle, and of course, a mask.

Never have we been more envious of an inanimate object than when Pedro Pascal stepped out in a sparkly cardigan this week.
