9 Fall Outfit Trends The Most Stylish Women Are Already Wearing

We talk a lot about trends here at Who What Wear. Boot trends, bag trends, denim trends, dress trends, sweater trends—you name it. But something we'd like to point out is that there are outfit trends to think about too. Certain outfit combinations and styling tricks seem to catch on like wildfire among the fashion crowd, and inevitably, everyone else follows suit.

With fall inching nearer, there are tons of outfit trends to spot, and we combed through and chose some of the biggest ones to put on your radar (if they aren't already). These cozy looks are perfect for this time of year, so you could feasibly start wearing them this week. You may not even have to buy anything, but if you do, we've shopped out the key piece you'll need for each, as we do.

Scroll away for a slew of outfit ideas to see you through to winter.

In case you haven't heard, knit dresses are one of fall's most popular dress trends, and wearing one with sleek mules happens to be a simple outfit trend too.
Big blazers aren't going anywhere this fall, and throwing one over a mini dress (for a no-pants look) with knee-high boots is shaping up to be the popular way to wear one.
Cardigans? For fall? Yes, we know, groundbreaking. Fashion girls are giving their knits new life, pairing bold cardigans with even bolder printed jeans.
Forget boring sweaters—it's all about sculptural knits this fall. They look luxe on their own, but the fashion set is styling them with leather pants and chain necklaces for even more zhoosh.
A crisp shirt dress paired with loafers is a classic and timeless outfit. Pro tip: Cinch the dress at the waist like Jen Azoulay did here.
With work-from-home continuing into fall for many companies, those business-on-top, lounge-on-bottom outfits are sticking around, too.
We've noticed that wraparound tops with column skirts are trending, and we see why: It's an easy way to stand out with very little effort.
Skirt suits are quickly shaping up to be fall and winter's new suiting trend, and the coolest way to show them off is with a miniskirt and cropped jacket. Just be sure to add some boots or tights for added warmth.
Printed mesh tops are the comfy-cool companion you're going to want to wear with all your favorite jeans.
There's a new basics silhouette in town and it's all about a strong shoulder. A padded shoulder tee and high-waisted trousers is an easy but chic outfit we expect to see a lot of this fall.

Next up, 27 fall items I'd buy with $20, $50, and $80.

I Tried the Viral One-Leg Jeans, and I Got Plenty of Stares

If you're into fashion and an avid TikTok scroller, you've probably come across the viral and somewhat controversial Coperni one-leg jeans . People who got their hands on them are asking followers how they should style them - and even whether or not they should keep them. Those who are still on a waitlist or are simply curious about the trend are going so far as to DIY the jeans by taking a scissor to one leg of an old pair. I, on the other hand, dared to step into the Romeo Hunte Black One Leg Pant ($232, originally $725), an alternative take on the same silhouette that's even more eye-catching (which, how is that possible?). These jeans were, without a doubt, one of the most polarizing looks I've ever worn - and I've tried some pretty divisive clothing, from Skims butt-enhancing shapewear to the brand's famous push-up nipple bra , and many a sheer naked dress . After wearing the jeans around town to run errands and obviously attracting some attention (st...

Oh, to Be Pedro Pascal's Sparkly Cardigan

Never have we been more envious of an inanimate object than when Pedro Pascal stepped out in a sparkly cardigan this week. As soon as we saw him walking the streets of London wearing the glittery knit, we longed to swap places with it - to be enrobing the heartthrob, catching the attention of random passersby, sparking internet discourse, and ultimately taking responsibility for his style breakout. Pascal has been serving look after look while promoting " The Last of Us " season one and "The Mandalorian" season three this year, working with stylists Julie Ragolia and Fabio Immediato . His latest came on Feb. 23 when he arrived to a radio interview wearing the shiny cardigan in question: a long button-down sweater made of silver foil yarn and created by menswear label 4SDesigns. He layered it over a sheer brown tank top and finished the look with black pants, leather boots, and his usual chunky-framed glasses. Just one day prior, the actor stopped by a photo call...
