According to OPI HQ, These Are the Most-Wanted Nail Polish Colors for Fall
Growing up, I collected bottles of OPI nail polish like my friends collected Beanie Babies, Pokémon cards, Happy Meal toys, Furbies, and any other treasure you'd find nestled inside a '90s baby starter pack. I'm sure my obsession with OPI nail colors, in particular, came partly from my mom, who wore a regular rotation of iconic hues like I'm Not Really a Waitress, You Don't Know Jacques!, Bogotá Blackberry, Lincoln Park After Dark, and OPI Red. I thought she was the most glamorous being to walk the earth, so naturally, I thought OPI nail colors were the most glamorous beauty accessory one could possibly choose to don. (Honestly, I'm still a believer!)
But I also think there was something about the enchanting, vampy hues she wore—so quintessentially fall—that caused my besottedness. Not surprisingly, I've had a thing for OPI's iconic palette of moody fall shades ever since.
Of course, OPI (and all of our other fave polish brands) makes plenty of gorgeous shades we can wear any time of the year that we damn well please. (Seasonal nail color "rules" are a thing of the past, folks.) But to take a trip down memory line, I asked OPI HQ to share four of its most-beloved fall nail colors of all time in addition to its brand-new fall nail color collection, Muse of Milan. Looking for some at-home mani inspiration? Sixteen of the best fall nail colors from OPI await just below.
The epitome of brooding aubergine, this borderline-black nail color has a tinge of purple and is known as one of the most iconic OPI nail colors of all time. The inky, dark shade is perfect for fall. Malaga Wine is a nail artist favorite, and Selena Gomez and Jennifer Lopez's celebrity manicurist Tom Bachik recently told us it's one of his favorites—especially when fall rolls around. One of the reasons we adore this classic shade of red so much is that it magically seems exceptionally appropriate for any season. We're always excited to bite into this juicy shade of crimson, but especially this coming fall.Black nails are forever chic, and this iconic favorite is our forever go-to. To keep the shade especially fresh and on trend this fall, keep your nails short and neat. According to OPI HQ, dusky, rich floral shades like this stunning polish will be a huge color trend for fall. The brand describes this demure hue as "a wisp of pale lavender shimmer."Meet Complimentary Wine, a mouthwatering shade of velvety cabernet. (And yes, we suggest pouring yourself a generous glass as you paint.)We're loving this vintage dark teal. It's dramatic and unique without being quite so moody as navy or other deeper shades of blue.Looking for an OPI nail color that's still in the turquoise family but with a little bit more vim and vigor? Try Duomo Days, Isola Nights, a mesmerizing sapphire blue.Trust us. The image of this polish doesn't do the new OPI nail color justice. Consider this a great alternative to gold or your go-to metallic—bronze with light-catching flecks of shimmering gold.Whoever said fall was reserved for dark and moody shades of purple hasn't met this gleaming mash-up between amethyst and violet.Have Your Panettone and Eat It Too is undoubtedly one of the best new nail colors from OPI's fall collection. It's a slightly sweeter, zippier iteration of another fall classic: burnt orange.Sparkly nail color lovers, this new fall pick is for you. Glowing and light-catching, it's a rich purple with swirled glitter that was inspired by one of Italy's greatest artists.Part rusted red, part roasted chestnuts, this burnished, earthy shade is a classic nod to an autumnal color palette.Nothing feels more 'tis the season than glassy shades of silver and chrome. This is a runway-inspired hue that is sure to be your next granite gray obsession. Or if shimmering grays aren't your thing, you can try a slick of this signature glossy gray. (It's the perfect neutral if you're sick of black, white, or nude.)Last but not least comes this wintery, iridescent number called This Color Hits All the High Notes. It's a delicate, pearly blue shade sure to win loads of compliments. Up next, How to Perfect 2020's Biggest Nail Trend at Home With (Basically) No Skill
If you're into fashion and an avid TikTok scroller, you've probably come across the viral and somewhat controversial Coperni one-leg jeans . People who got their hands on them are asking followers how they should style them - and even whether or not they should keep them. Those who are still on a waitlist or are simply curious about the trend are going so far as to DIY the jeans by taking a scissor to one leg of an old pair. I, on the other hand, dared to step into the Romeo Hunte Black One Leg Pant ($232, originally $725), an alternative take on the same silhouette that's even more eye-catching (which, how is that possible?). These jeans were, without a doubt, one of the most polarizing looks I've ever worn - and I've tried some pretty divisive clothing, from Skims butt-enhancing shapewear to the brand's famous push-up nipple bra , and many a sheer naked dress . After wearing the jeans around town to run errands and obviously attracting some attention (st...

Never have we been more envious of an inanimate object than when Pedro Pascal stepped out in a sparkly cardigan this week. As soon as we saw him walking the streets of London wearing the glittery knit, we longed to swap places with it - to be enrobing the heartthrob, catching the attention of random passersby, sparking internet discourse, and ultimately taking responsibility for his style breakout. Pascal has been serving look after look while promoting " The Last of Us " season one and "The Mandalorian" season three this year, working with stylists Julie Ragolia and Fabio Immediato . His latest came on Feb. 23 when he arrived to a radio interview wearing the shiny cardigan in question: a long button-down sweater made of silver foil yarn and created by menswear label 4SDesigns. He layered it over a sheer brown tank top and finished the look with black pants, leather boots, and his usual chunky-framed glasses. Just one day prior, the actor stopped by a photo call...
