But how do you wear sweatpants without looking too casual or frumpy? The answer is rather simple, pair them with classic toppers like tailored coats and trenches and add stylish accents! Polished accents like hoop earrings, cat-eye sunglasses and chic bags really help to dress up sweatpants and add a bit of polish to this otherwise very casual basic.
Though sweatpants look really great paired with running shoes and chunky boot styles, I love to wear them with another trendy staple this season – the sterling mule!
