Kaia Gerber Wore the Season’s Biggest Grandma Trend With Jeans

I think I have a pretty good theory as to why people are so obsessed with Kaia Gerber's style, in case you were wondering. She always wears the latest trends, but in the most low-key of ways. Take, for example, her latest outfit for running errands with boyfriend Jacob Elordi in L.A. Gerber wore jeans and Converse Chuck Taylors, pairing them with this season's buzziest "grandma" trend: a sweater vest. 

Aside from being kind of the perfect sweater style for L.A.'s mild fall weather, sweater vests have quickly become a favorite trend of the fashion crowd, and our editors can't stop talking about (or buying) them. Gerber's simple outfit is easy and classic but if you want to experiment a little, try wearing your vest over a long-sleeve dress or a button-down with a fancy collar.
