These Are the 7 Top-Selling Fall Trends Around the World

When it comes to online shopping, Mango is always a regular stop I make to scroll through its new arrivals. It always has the best of the best when it comes to the season's latest fashion, with a take on trends that always feels timeless and modern. Since I'm planning to add a few items to my closet for the fall season ahead, I was curious to find out which pieces we can expect to see fashion insiders wearing in the coming months.

Chatting with Mango's head of area PR, Idoya Noain Ruiz, she shared the top-selling items around the world that the brand can barely keep in stock. “By now, we have detected two main tendencies. One focuses on comfy, wool, and cozy materials,” she explained. “Feeling comfortable has become key lately due to the current situation, so we believe these will be pieces to include not just in home looks but to use in our daily routines.”

Among the pieces already on Mango's sellout list are staples like knit joggers and half-zip sweaters, but if you're still looking to get order some for yourself, Mango just dropped its comfy collection that is stocked with chic (and cozy) everyday staples.

“The other main tendency that is reflected in our sales performance is a focus on an urban style,” Ruiz explained, noting that items like chunky boots and leather outerwear have been hugely popular. If you're looking for inspiration for how to wear Mango's two top-selling trends together, just look to Pernille Teisbaek's chic outfit above that pairs a leather jacket with knit joggers.

Ahead, see the seven biggest trends that are selling out at Mango around the world and the exact items that are topping sales. I have a feeling these will all be sold out soon.

It's no surprise that luxe knits are one of the winning trends for fall, and they're particularly popular in the USA. Consider these the polished alternative to your favorite sweatpants.

Flat boots are one of this fall's most popular shoe trends, and the chunky styles have been selling out everywhere. Style them with everything from knit dresses to joggers.

In 2020, we've seen shoulder-pad tees emerge as one of the year's most popular trends. The cool shape is the ultimate modern take on your standard T-shirt, and Mango carries a range of covetable colors.

Tailoring has been on the rise for the last few seasons, and a well-cut coat is a closet essential that you can wear year after year. This fall, I'd pair one with a sweatpant set or a hoodie and jeans.

One of the biggest summer trends were the long, flowy dresses that we spotted on just about every fashion insider. The piece can easily transition to fall by adding a pair of leather knee-high boots.

Houndstooth was a major print trend last year and continues to be in demand for 2020. This time around, we're seeing a more magnified, statement-making version.

One of the main colors winning out at Mango this season? Shades of cream. The neutral is a softer alternative to white as we move into fall.

I Tried the Viral One-Leg Jeans, and I Got Plenty of Stares

If you're into fashion and an avid TikTok scroller, you've probably come across the viral and somewhat controversial Coperni one-leg jeans . People who got their hands on them are asking followers how they should style them - and even whether or not they should keep them. Those who are still on a waitlist or are simply curious about the trend are going so far as to DIY the jeans by taking a scissor to one leg of an old pair. I, on the other hand, dared to step into the Romeo Hunte Black One Leg Pant ($232, originally $725), an alternative take on the same silhouette that's even more eye-catching (which, how is that possible?). These jeans were, without a doubt, one of the most polarizing looks I've ever worn - and I've tried some pretty divisive clothing, from Skims butt-enhancing shapewear to the brand's famous push-up nipple bra , and many a sheer naked dress . After wearing the jeans around town to run errands and obviously attracting some attention (st...

Oh, to Be Pedro Pascal's Sparkly Cardigan

Never have we been more envious of an inanimate object than when Pedro Pascal stepped out in a sparkly cardigan this week. As soon as we saw him walking the streets of London wearing the glittery knit, we longed to swap places with it - to be enrobing the heartthrob, catching the attention of random passersby, sparking internet discourse, and ultimately taking responsibility for his style breakout. Pascal has been serving look after look while promoting " The Last of Us " season one and "The Mandalorian" season three this year, working with stylists Julie Ragolia and Fabio Immediato . His latest came on Feb. 23 when he arrived to a radio interview wearing the shiny cardigan in question: a long button-down sweater made of silver foil yarn and created by menswear label 4SDesigns. He layered it over a sheer brown tank top and finished the look with black pants, leather boots, and his usual chunky-framed glasses. Just one day prior, the actor stopped by a photo call...
