2020 MTV Europe Music Awards: See What All the Stars Wore to the Virtual Event

The 2020 MTV Europe Music Awards took place from all over the world, with Little Mix hosting the event from the United Kingdom, Alicia Keys and Maluma performing from Los Angeles and Miami respectively, and David Guetta streaming his blowout set from the Széchenyi Bath in Budapest, Hungary (casual). And while the event came to us virtually, it didn't stop the stars from taking the chance to get dressed up for the occasion.

Our favorite stars lit up the virtual red carpet in diamanté, embellished, and studded outfits - like Doja Cat's sheer black maxi dress covered in crystal embellishments, Alicia Keys's diamanté-detail crop top, Maluma's silver-studded vest, and Madison Beer and Anne-Marie's satin dresses with sparkling details. When it comes to dress trends, satin and ruffles were a popular choice, while Rita Ora and Little Mix's Perrie Edwards wore standout tulle gowns, which were two of the most memorable outfits of the night.

Oh, to Be Pedro Pascal's Sparkly Cardigan

Never have we been more envious of an inanimate object than when Pedro Pascal stepped out in a sparkly cardigan this week. As soon as we saw him walking the streets of London wearing the glittery knit, we longed to swap places with it - to be enrobing the heartthrob, catching the attention of random passersby, sparking internet discourse, and ultimately taking responsibility for his style breakout.
