I Love a White Dress for Winter—Here Are 25 I Recommend

If you read my stories regularly you probably know that I’m dress obsessed. Even in winter, I love to luxuriate in a cozy frock—with the addition of plenty of layers, of course. While we tend to gravitate towards black, grey, and jewel-tone hues in winter, today I’m here to convince you that a winter white dress is also worth considering! Not only does the crisp and refreshing hue make every ensemble look more luxurious but it can be an instant mood lifter too—an invigorating hit on a cold, gray, winter's day.

To pull off the look during the cold-weather season avoid lightweight fabrics such as linen and broderie anglaise and instead, opt for cozy knits, corduroy, or jacquard fabrics that exude a wintery feel. Play with all different shades of white—from ivory to silvery hues, and finally layer your dress for the weather. Think a tissue-thin turtleneck under a slip dress, or a shearling coat over a knit number—and don’t forget your tights and boots.

Scroll below as I share my favorite winter white dresses I highly recommend adding to your cart this season.

Style Notes: A non-restrictive white mini dress with tights and ballet flats is a winning combination.
A jacquard weave fabric feels winter-ready.
This strikes the perfect balance of cozy and chic.
Get in the holiday mood and opt for a white knit dress with pretty embellishments.
Swap your sweats for this seriously cozy lounge dress.
For something a little more festive, this sequin number is perfection.
Style Notes: Yes, you can wear a silky slip dress in winter. Simply layer a lightweight turtleneck underneath and top it off with a cozy cardigan. Fluffy white slippers would make a great finishing touch.
A classic you can wear year-round.
Opt for a modern silhouette for a sleek look.
I'll be lounging in this one all day every day throughout the winter holiday.
I'm obsessing over this trending bolero dress.
This drapes so beautifully.
Style Notes: Pair an easy-to-move-in white cardigan dress with a leather topper and knee-high boots. So chic.
When you're not wearing it as a dress, throw it on over jeans and a tee.
I love a relaxed knit silhouette.
This would look cute with a pair of sherpa-lined hiking boots.
The belt adds a flattering silhouette.
So versatile.
Style Notes: This silhouette is perfect for your holiday zoom calls with friends.
If you're going to make a white dress investment, you can't go wrong with this.
Already thinking of all the fun accessories to wear with this.
Corduroy is another winter winner.
This will look chic with tan leather knee-high boots.
The sleeves are Insta-worthy.
Style Notes: A ribbed knit white dress looks super luxe, especially when paired with a matching longline cardigan.
I raved about this amazing Amazon purchase in a recent story.
Too pretty to pass up.
If you want to dress up on NYE, I've found the frock.
Easy and effortless.

Up next, I'm dress obsessed—here are 27 on my winter wish list.

I Tried the Viral One-Leg Jeans, and I Got Plenty of Stares

If you're into fashion and an avid TikTok scroller, you've probably come across the viral and somewhat controversial Coperni one-leg jeans . People who got their hands on them are asking followers how they should style them - and even whether or not they should keep them. Those who are still on a waitlist or are simply curious about the trend are going so far as to DIY the jeans by taking a scissor to one leg of an old pair. I, on the other hand, dared to step into the Romeo Hunte Black One Leg Pant ($232, originally $725), an alternative take on the same silhouette that's even more eye-catching (which, how is that possible?). These jeans were, without a doubt, one of the most polarizing looks I've ever worn - and I've tried some pretty divisive clothing, from Skims butt-enhancing shapewear to the brand's famous push-up nipple bra , and many a sheer naked dress . After wearing the jeans around town to run errands and obviously attracting some attention (st...

Oh, to Be Pedro Pascal's Sparkly Cardigan

Never have we been more envious of an inanimate object than when Pedro Pascal stepped out in a sparkly cardigan this week. As soon as we saw him walking the streets of London wearing the glittery knit, we longed to swap places with it - to be enrobing the heartthrob, catching the attention of random passersby, sparking internet discourse, and ultimately taking responsibility for his style breakout. Pascal has been serving look after look while promoting " The Last of Us " season one and "The Mandalorian" season three this year, working with stylists Julie Ragolia and Fabio Immediato . His latest came on Feb. 23 when he arrived to a radio interview wearing the shiny cardigan in question: a long button-down sweater made of silver foil yarn and created by menswear label 4SDesigns. He layered it over a sheer brown tank top and finished the look with black pants, leather boots, and his usual chunky-framed glasses. Just one day prior, the actor stopped by a photo call...
