10 TV Shows Fashion Girls Will Be Watching in 2021

It's safe to say that any of us have been glued to our TVs this year more than ever before. While there was no doubt a lot of top-tier shows—Insecure, The Queen's Gambit, and The Crown come to mind—next year promises to be even better with a great mix of new and returning shows.

When it comes to newcomers, one standout is The Pursuit of Love, which stars Lily James and will feature beautiful 1920s and 30s European costumes. Another new show is HBO's The Gilded Age starring Sex and the City's Cynthia Nixon. It's a period drama set in 1880s New York City (so no Miranda Hobbs in sight). It's by the creator of Downton Abbey, so our expectations are certainly high for the acting and costumes. Scroll down for a recap of the 10 most stylish shows of 2021.

Mark your calendars: Black-ish will return for its 7th season on Tuesday, January 26. Of course, Tracee Ellis Ross's stylish character will be coming back, along with Anthony Anderson and the rest of the cast.
Lily James stars in this sure-to-be-stylish show set in Europe in the 1920s. We can expect beautiful period costumes and fanciful set designs true to the era.
The highly-anticipated special was supposed to air in 2020, but it's been moved to March 2021. Sadly, it's just a one-off moment and not a reboot, but we can't wait to see the whole gang back together again.
As we reported, the Gossip Girl reboot started filming in New York City this fall. It will feature an all-new generation of high school students in the modern, social media-obsessed era. We don't have an exact release date since cameras are still rolling, but we're crossing our fingers for a late 2021 premiere.
Billy Porter's incredibly stylish multi-award-winning series will return for its third season next year, but the exact date is still TBA. We can't wait to see what the wardrobe department comes up with next year.
Cynthia Nixon and Christine Baranski will be starring in HBO's The Gilded Age, a historical drama set in 1880s New York City. Considering it's from the same creator as Downton Abbey, we can expect sumptuous period costumes.
Matt James will be the new lead when The Bachelor returns on Monday, January 4. He was originally announced as a cast member on Clare's season of The Bachelorette, buthe never made it to the start of filming—instead, he was named the first Black male lead of the franchise.
I can't wait for more of Shiv Roy's posh pantsuits and badass boardroom dresses. Heck, I'm even looking forward to Logan Roy's grandpa sweaters. The season three release date is still TBD.
Mindy Kaling's adorable show is returning for a second season and I personally cannot wait. The show has been especially meaningful for the South Asian community and is a win for representation.
Lili Reinhart, Camila Mendes, and the rest of the cast will return to Riverdale on Wednesday, January 20. I know a lot of Who What Wear editors will be unavailable that evening.

I Tried the Viral One-Leg Jeans, and I Got Plenty of Stares

If you're into fashion and an avid TikTok scroller, you've probably come across the viral and somewhat controversial Coperni one-leg jeans . People who got their hands on them are asking followers how they should style them - and even whether or not they should keep them. Those who are still on a waitlist or are simply curious about the trend are going so far as to DIY the jeans by taking a scissor to one leg of an old pair. I, on the other hand, dared to step into the Romeo Hunte Black One Leg Pant ($232, originally $725), an alternative take on the same silhouette that's even more eye-catching (which, how is that possible?). These jeans were, without a doubt, one of the most polarizing looks I've ever worn - and I've tried some pretty divisive clothing, from Skims butt-enhancing shapewear to the brand's famous push-up nipple bra , and many a sheer naked dress . After wearing the jeans around town to run errands and obviously attracting some attention (st...

Oh, to Be Pedro Pascal's Sparkly Cardigan

Never have we been more envious of an inanimate object than when Pedro Pascal stepped out in a sparkly cardigan this week. As soon as we saw him walking the streets of London wearing the glittery knit, we longed to swap places with it - to be enrobing the heartthrob, catching the attention of random passersby, sparking internet discourse, and ultimately taking responsibility for his style breakout. Pascal has been serving look after look while promoting " The Last of Us " season one and "The Mandalorian" season three this year, working with stylists Julie Ragolia and Fabio Immediato . His latest came on Feb. 23 when he arrived to a radio interview wearing the shiny cardigan in question: a long button-down sweater made of silver foil yarn and created by menswear label 4SDesigns. He layered it over a sheer brown tank top and finished the look with black pants, leather boots, and his usual chunky-framed glasses. Just one day prior, the actor stopped by a photo call...
