While this story may have started out as an excuse to write about my lowkey obsession with Timothée Chalamet, I've actually become full-on inspired by his style risks at movie premieres and his luxe but cool looks he dons around NYC. My usual go-to for celebrity outfit inspiration is Bella Hadid, but I may be expanding to take cues from male stars like Chalemet because it's evident that he knows how to embrace the spectrum of style.
While many young male celebrities opt for the simplicities of a black tuxedo on the red carpet, Chalamet takes the extra mile with pops of bright hues. The star isn't pictured by paparazzi as often as others, but when he is, he's usually sporting top designers like Prada and Gucci, but fitting them effortlessly into his relaxed outfits that consist of joggers and sneakers.
Below, I've rounded up all my favorite looks of the star that I can actually see myself recreating. And if there's anything to be said about 2020, it's that it gave a copious amount of Timmy content—from the Dune trailer to his GQ cover to his Saturday Night Live episode. This outfit is simple and is exactly what I want to wear when it's cold out. On Timothée: Gucci sweater, shirt, and loafers. When the best worlds collide. I know—technically, this Timothée acting as Harry Styles, but we have to admit, he pulls off that sweater and collar so well that I had to include it. Here he makes yet another case for a monochromatic look, but also for corduroy which, I've been seeing more of on the fashion scene lately. On Timothée: Saint Laurent jacket. For those days where you don't want to think too much about an outfit, pair a colored jacket over all-black basics.When Timothée was spotted with fans wearing the buzzy beauty brand's pink sweatshirt, girls everywhere rushed to get their hands on it. The star almost always spotted in sneakers and has worn New Balances aplenty. No outfit of his is complete without a dad hat, usually with some obscure quote or caption on the front.
