6 Celebrities That Are Really Good at Shopping (And What They're Wearing)

I get the impression that the majority of actors, musicians, models, and athletes don't necessarily set out to become famous style icons, but this is oftentimes what ends up happening. Some celebrities have a great eye of their own and some are armed with stylists that understand what they'll feel most confident in, and even will shop for street style outfits with or for them. I think that the past 11 months have been quite indicative of celebrities' affinity for fashion. Without events to attend and non-Zoom press to do, they're undoubtedly using their stylists less, and probably have more time to do some shopping of their own.

A handful of celebs have really stood out for their excellent street style lately, and I think it's safe to assume that they are indeed really good at shopping. So in case you want some fresh ideas as to what to buy, based on what these shopping-proficient celebs are wearing, keep scrolling to do just that.

Rihanna sightings are sort of few and far between these days, but whenever she does step out (usually at night), she never disappoints. And given that she has a fashion empire of her own in Fenty, it's safe to assume that she probably chooses her own looks (which are often a mix of comfortable pieces with statement accessories and outerwear).

On Rihanna: Nina Ricci coat; Fenty Don't Be Square Slingbacks ($700)
On Rihanna: Bottega Veneta Silk Ribbed-Detail Cardigan ($3150); Fenty Corset Pumps ($740)

Aside from the face masks, you wouldn't know that it was a pandemic based on Hailey Bieber's wardrobe. (SO to her stylist and friend Maeve Reilly.) Bieber will really inspire you to get out of the sweats, and when she does wear sweats, she always makes them look surprisingly cool.

On Hailey Bieber: Wardrobe.NYC blazer; Ksubi Playback Runaway Jeans ($205); Bottega Veneta The Pouch Bag ($2950)
On Hailey Bieber: Bottega Veneta bag; Nike shoes
On Hailey Bieber: Acne Studios jacket; Alo leggings; Vince Camuto Kortendie Fuzzy Slide Slippers ($29)

If you're not following Mindy Kaling on Instagram, you're missing out. Kaling is clearly a huge fan of fashion, and the brightly colored outfits she wears are sure to bring a smile to your face.

On Mindy Kaling: Rodarte Organza-Collar Silk-Satin Gown ($800); Jimmy Choo shoes
On Mindy Kaling: Warm Fun Zippy Hoodie ($86) and Chill Sweatpants ($70); Kurt Geiger London Rainbow Shop Lettie Sneaker ($175)
Shop the matching Boyfriend Sweatshirt ($85).
On Mindy Kaling: Lafayette 148 New York coat; DVF dress; Aquazzura shoes

If I had to choose, I'd say that Elsa Hosk is one of the most stylish models of our time (as in, top three), and that's saying a lot. She always gets her hands on the very latest It items, and provides endless outfit inspiration that I, personally, take notes on.

On Elsa Hosk: Balenciaga jacket; Zara jumpsuit; Chanel loafers
On Elsa Hosk: Zara leggings; Bottega Veneta The Pouch Chain-Embellished Bag ($3690); Eytys Gaia Boots ($500)
On Elsa Hosk: Bazilika coat; Bumpsuit The Penelope ($155); Modus belt; Source Unknown boots

I personally don't think Dua Lipa gets enough credit for her style. She never phones it in, and gives us something to talk about with every look that the paparazzi captures or that she posts on Instagram. She favors bold looks with a big dose of the '90s. She's not one to just wear what everyone else is wearing.

On Dua Lipa: Moncler x Richard Quinn jacket and Elsa Satin Pumps ($1170)
On Dua Lipa: Ugg Classic Mini II Boots ($150)

If the number of Katie Holmes outfits we posted about here on Who What Wear are any indication, she's had a very chic year. Her style is accessible and wearable, yet aspirational, and she's not afraid to try "controversial" trends.

On Katie Holmes: Ulla Johnson coat; Khaite Large Leather Crossbody Bag ($2240); Sorel Lennox Hiker Boots ($165)

Next up, the 4 items celebs wear to make skinny jeans look chic.

I Tried the Viral One-Leg Jeans, and I Got Plenty of Stares

If you're into fashion and an avid TikTok scroller, you've probably come across the viral and somewhat controversial Coperni one-leg jeans . People who got their hands on them are asking followers how they should style them - and even whether or not they should keep them. Those who are still on a waitlist or are simply curious about the trend are going so far as to DIY the jeans by taking a scissor to one leg of an old pair. I, on the other hand, dared to step into the Romeo Hunte Black One Leg Pant ($232, originally $725), an alternative take on the same silhouette that's even more eye-catching (which, how is that possible?). These jeans were, without a doubt, one of the most polarizing looks I've ever worn - and I've tried some pretty divisive clothing, from Skims butt-enhancing shapewear to the brand's famous push-up nipple bra , and many a sheer naked dress . After wearing the jeans around town to run errands and obviously attracting some attention (st...

Oh, to Be Pedro Pascal's Sparkly Cardigan

Never have we been more envious of an inanimate object than when Pedro Pascal stepped out in a sparkly cardigan this week. As soon as we saw him walking the streets of London wearing the glittery knit, we longed to swap places with it - to be enrobing the heartthrob, catching the attention of random passersby, sparking internet discourse, and ultimately taking responsibility for his style breakout. Pascal has been serving look after look while promoting " The Last of Us " season one and "The Mandalorian" season three this year, working with stylists Julie Ragolia and Fabio Immediato . His latest came on Feb. 23 when he arrived to a radio interview wearing the shiny cardigan in question: a long button-down sweater made of silver foil yarn and created by menswear label 4SDesigns. He layered it over a sheer brown tank top and finished the look with black pants, leather boots, and his usual chunky-framed glasses. Just one day prior, the actor stopped by a photo call...
