Lady Gaga Wore a Beautiful Caped Coat Ahead of Her Inauguration Performance

Lady Gaga has performed at a range of venues from the Super Bowl to the Grammys, but there's no doubt that Wednesday will be a particularly special one. She will be singing the National Anthem on Inauguration Day before President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris get sworn in. Lady Gaga had utilized her massive platform to campaign for the Biden-Harris ticket, so she was a fitting choice for the event. 

In her new Instagram post, Lady Gaga acknowledged the weight of the moment. "I pray tomorrow will be a day of peace for all Americans," she captioned her photo. "A day for love, not hatred. A day for acceptance not fear. A day for dreaming of our future joy as a country. A dream that is non-violent, a dream that provides safety for our souls. Love, from the Capitol." 

In the image, Lady Gaga wore an all-white outfit including a caped coat and a matching face mask. As you may know, wearing white has become a powerful symbol in politics, representing the women's suffrage movement. Scroll down to see her new photo ahead of Inauguration Day.
