My Stylish Aunt Just Made the Most Epic Spring Shopping List

My aunt was one of my very first style icons. To be fair, most of the women in my life have always cared about style in one form or another (like my grandma, for example, who is 95 and still puts on a full outfit and face of makeup every day), but it was my aunt who taught me how to dress in a way that was 100% true to who I was. She so often led by example via her bold sartorial choices and exuding confidence to match. She has never dressed to fit in or to impress, but to really show off who she is as a woman, and that's just one of the many things I love about her.

While she and I definitely don't have the same style, I am always curious to know what she's been eyeing and buying as of late. In a recent story, I shared with you some of her current obsessions and today she is back for round two. Ahead you will see the 25 items my stylish aunt is shopping for this spring. From breezy dresses to colorful statement shoes, I can guarantee the selection ahead is one worth scrolling through.

"This dress has everything I love—a fabulous color and an easy silhouette. Pair it with a small heel for evening or a flat strappy sandal for the day."
"Oversized blouses are my go-to's. I love pairing them with loose denim and Converse."
"This chic pink and green color combo is fresh and fun. The square toe and heel add interest to the design. These shoes would easily pair with jeans or a summer dress."
"This is the kind of dress I would easily dress up or down with sneakers or strappy low heels."
"This sleek bag is the perfect accessory to accompany any outfit. The yellow will brighten up not only your outfit but also your day."
"This knit ensemble is calling my name. It is cool, comfortable, and is a great backdrop for some fun accessories. I would pair it with a fun chunky shoe in a strong color and add my cutest long earrings."
"Although I always love a statement earring, I have become partial to the chunky gold hoops my niece gifted me in the fall. I find that they are now my go-to earring of choice!"
"This is a great spring/summer top. The print reminds me of a picnic. I love that the arms are covered yet the neck and shoulders are bare."
"The modern lines and linear bamboo slats elevate this bag’s style. The white and natural color combo is great all year round."
"These khaki linen wide-leg pants are super versatile and act as a great summer basic. Dress them up with a floral blouse or blazer and strappy heels or go casual with a graphic tee, denim jacket, and your favorite sneakers (mine are Converse)."
"I love cozy sweatshirts that are also extremely stylish. This two-tone one from JW Anderson is worth the splurge in my opinion."
"I basically love everything this brand makes. This pleated hell shoe has such great style in any color,  but I am loving the denim shade!"
"This easy-breezy lightweight dress in such a fun mixed print is perfect for warm weather. I love the open V-neck collar and elbow-length sleeves."
"My niece always gets on me for not actually going in the pool with her, but I'd rather sit outside on a lounge chair wearing something chic like this."
"My white Birkenstocks are my favorite go-to comfy shoe, but I am crushing on this new neutral almond color."
"A cheerful, colorful, stylish but comfy sweatshirt is essential for a summer evening. I love this coral color dropped-shoulder pullover.  It would even be cute paired over a floral summer dress."
"I am loving the square cat-eye shape of these classic black sunglasses."
"If you're in the mood to splurge, these quilted ivory mules with cool geometric gold studs are the perfect post-Covid debut shoe! I can’t think of a thing they won’t go with."
"I can never have enough comfy, loose Free People shirts. The coolness of this light blue color is great for spring to pair with a skirt, jeans, or slacks and some white platform sneakers."
"Clearly I love a chunky flat slide and this snakeskin print will act as a fun new neutral for me."
"This mini dress would act as a shirt for me. I would style it over white slacks or jeans. The layered black knit over the blue stripe shirt creates a cool interest, depth, and texture."
"This drop waist eyelet dress is the perfect combination of comfort and style. Again, an elbow-length sleeve shows enough skin for me."
"These vibrant blue shoes will add a fun pop of color to your ensemble and the square toe and heel add a modern flair."
"I want to buy this breezy H&M dress in every color. For the price, how can you go wrong?"
"These subtle utility jeans are great spring/summer pants. I would pair them with a simple tee and my white Birkenstocks."  Next up, shop 6 cheap and chic basics this editor is buying to dress better this spring.

I Tried the Viral One-Leg Jeans, and I Got Plenty of Stares

If you're into fashion and an avid TikTok scroller, you've probably come across the viral and somewhat controversial Coperni one-leg jeans . People who got their hands on them are asking followers how they should style them - and even whether or not they should keep them. Those who are still on a waitlist or are simply curious about the trend are going so far as to DIY the jeans by taking a scissor to one leg of an old pair. I, on the other hand, dared to step into the Romeo Hunte Black One Leg Pant ($232, originally $725), an alternative take on the same silhouette that's even more eye-catching (which, how is that possible?). These jeans were, without a doubt, one of the most polarizing looks I've ever worn - and I've tried some pretty divisive clothing, from Skims butt-enhancing shapewear to the brand's famous push-up nipple bra , and many a sheer naked dress . After wearing the jeans around town to run errands and obviously attracting some attention (st...

Oh, to Be Pedro Pascal's Sparkly Cardigan

Never have we been more envious of an inanimate object than when Pedro Pascal stepped out in a sparkly cardigan this week. As soon as we saw him walking the streets of London wearing the glittery knit, we longed to swap places with it - to be enrobing the heartthrob, catching the attention of random passersby, sparking internet discourse, and ultimately taking responsibility for his style breakout. Pascal has been serving look after look while promoting " The Last of Us " season one and "The Mandalorian" season three this year, working with stylists Julie Ragolia and Fabio Immediato . His latest came on Feb. 23 when he arrived to a radio interview wearing the shiny cardigan in question: a long button-down sweater made of silver foil yarn and created by menswear label 4SDesigns. He layered it over a sheer brown tank top and finished the look with black pants, leather boots, and his usual chunky-framed glasses. Just one day prior, the actor stopped by a photo call...
