Gone Viral: I Tested the Products Everyone on TikTok Is Obsessed With

We've all seen product recommendations on TikTok. In fact, it's the one app that can sell out an entire stock with one video. And as someone who doesn't buy something without reading at least 10 customer reviews first, tons of products have piqued my interest, especially when I see the videos talking about how they "changed their life." Since I work within the fashion and beauty space, I knew I had to put these viral products to the test and see how they worked for me. Whether you're on TikTok or have seen these products on the best-selling pages, you'll want to hear what I have to say.

Amongst the mix, I found new favorites to add to my wardrobe and beauty routine. As someone who's been doing the same makeup since college, it was honestly fun (and motivating!) to add a few different methods to change up my look. You might find something worth adapting below, just keep scrolling to find out.

Product Info: Size 4, Cognac

The Review: I love anything with leather pants, so when I saw a video saying these were flattering on anyone, I wanted to give it a try. I took a trip to the Aritzia store to grab a pair they were all sold out, so you know that just made me want them more. When I finally got my hands on a pair, I realized that the internet was right. The leather is soft, and the pants fit like a glove in all the right places. I'm short and the regular pair hit at the perfect length, but there are also petite and tall versions.

Product Info: Size 2, Light Wash

The Review: Zara jeans always fit nicely, but I'm always a little wary about the height issue. I saw multiple videos of girls trying on the High-Rise jeans, claiming they fit perfectly at the waist but also gave a nice loose leg which can be hard to find. While I do agree the jeans fit perfectly at the waist, I did have to cut a little bit and the end since they pooled at the ground a little bit. I liked how the raw cut looked, but if you're not in the mood to hem, these may not be the best bet for those under 5'4."

Product Shade: Joy and Love

The Review: I've already talked much on here about how much I love Rare Beauty, so it's surprising even to me that I've never tried the brand's top-selling product. The cream blush is a personal favorite, but I'm definitely going to be using the liquid blush more often when I go out and want a more stand-out look. It's quite pigmented so it can take some time to blend into the skin, so if you want something a little more subtle and blendable, the Melting Cream Blush is a great alternative.

Product Shade: The OG

The Review: thought I'd never join the faux freckle crew, but a small part of me really wanted to try it out. I've always seen the videos of "fails" where girls do DIY tricks to get the effect, but this product is probably the best option out there for those who want to try it out. You simply dot the product and tap it into the skin, and it gives off the perfect "natural" looking freckles. At first, I wasn't sure if I'd use this regularly, but after using it lightly in my routine, I do think I'll be trying it out more often with my looks.

Product Shade: Medium

The Review: Madison Beer's Vogue secrets video sold out multiple Charlotte Tilbury products, and I can't believe I waited this long to try out the brand. I got a mini size, which I think is perfect since I think this is a product I'll be using more for special occasions or night outs, rather than every day. I put it under my foundation on the high points of my cheeks and chin, which gave a healthy lit-from-within glow versus a powder highlight.

The Review: This is the product that users claimed changed their skin, however, after speaking to a dermatologist I learned it's important to be careful with this product. In many TikTok videos (and even on the bottle), it says you can use this one to two times a day. Since it's a fairly strong exfoliant, my skin reacted badly to that amount of usage. It's better to start off with one to two times a week and gradually see how your skin reacts, which is then when the product started clearing up my clogged skin. I still may have the occasional breakout or two (thanks Maskne!) but the clusters of stubborn acne and blackheads are no more.

Product Shade: Spicy

The Review: I have quite a few lip glosses in my collection, but this one quickly has become one of my top favorites. (I even got a few to give to guests at my bridal shower.) Most lipglosses come off as sticky (even when advertised as not) but this one did the opposite. It applied like a hydrating oil but gave the effect of a gloss—which is exactly what everyone wants. It also gives a plumping illusion, which is why it went viral in the first place.

I Tried the Viral One-Leg Jeans, and I Got Plenty of Stares

If you're into fashion and an avid TikTok scroller, you've probably come across the viral and somewhat controversial Coperni one-leg jeans . People who got their hands on them are asking followers how they should style them - and even whether or not they should keep them. Those who are still on a waitlist or are simply curious about the trend are going so far as to DIY the jeans by taking a scissor to one leg of an old pair. I, on the other hand, dared to step into the Romeo Hunte Black One Leg Pant ($232, originally $725), an alternative take on the same silhouette that's even more eye-catching (which, how is that possible?). These jeans were, without a doubt, one of the most polarizing looks I've ever worn - and I've tried some pretty divisive clothing, from Skims butt-enhancing shapewear to the brand's famous push-up nipple bra , and many a sheer naked dress . After wearing the jeans around town to run errands and obviously attracting some attention (st...

Oh, to Be Pedro Pascal's Sparkly Cardigan

Never have we been more envious of an inanimate object than when Pedro Pascal stepped out in a sparkly cardigan this week. As soon as we saw him walking the streets of London wearing the glittery knit, we longed to swap places with it - to be enrobing the heartthrob, catching the attention of random passersby, sparking internet discourse, and ultimately taking responsibility for his style breakout. Pascal has been serving look after look while promoting " The Last of Us " season one and "The Mandalorian" season three this year, working with stylists Julie Ragolia and Fabio Immediato . His latest came on Feb. 23 when he arrived to a radio interview wearing the shiny cardigan in question: a long button-down sweater made of silver foil yarn and created by menswear label 4SDesigns. He layered it over a sheer brown tank top and finished the look with black pants, leather boots, and his usual chunky-framed glasses. Just one day prior, the actor stopped by a photo call...
