These Heels Are So Coveted, They've Repeatedly Sold Out During the Pandemic

While most fashion news coverage over the past year was dominated by talk of house dresses, slippers, and sweats, an interesting thing was occurring: Amina Muaddi's whimsical, thoroughly fancy heels remained wildly popular. The heels average four inches in height and prices range from $650 to $1500 (and up), but that hasn't stopped them from repeatedly selling out on the various luxury retail sites the brand is sold on. I'd like to add a disclaimer: While the heel is high, most feature a sturdy pyramid-tipped heel, which has become a signature of the brand.

If you asked me to name the most photogenic designer shoes on the market right now, I wouldn't hesitate to say Amina Muaddi. This surely explains why celebrities such as Rihanna and Kendall Jenner count themselves as Amina Muaddi fans, and I couldn't tell you how many pairs I scroll across on Instagram any given week. The fact that Muaddi's sparkly, special occasion-worthy shoes (which are designed in Paris and produced in Italy) have remained such an It item throughout the pandemic is really a testament to their popularity.

As vaccination rates rise in our country, here's hoping we'll all have somewhere to wear beautiful heels again in 2021. If you want those heels to be Amina Muaddi, keep scrolling to shop 16 pairs that are actually in stock (for now) and see which pairs influencers are snagging.

I call these unicorn shoes.
Amina Muaddi shoes are instantly recognizable, as you can see.
They're not red, but I'm getting Wizard of Oz vibes nonetheless.
Green rhinestones make everything better.
These have Rihanna written all over them.
If you love low heels, you're in luck!
Simple but chic.
These are so beautiful and elegant.
Introducing the most non-dated leopard shoes on the market.
The ankle ties up the drama even more.
If I saw someone wearing these while I was out, I'd know it was a good night.
So many trends are happening here, and it works beautifully.
I imagine some fashion-girl brides will be splurging on these.
It's hard not to be drawn to these glittery heels.
Someone take these on a trip to Miami.

Next up, the chic heel trend fashion people are all about.

I Tried the Viral One-Leg Jeans, and I Got Plenty of Stares

If you're into fashion and an avid TikTok scroller, you've probably come across the viral and somewhat controversial Coperni one-leg jeans . People who got their hands on them are asking followers how they should style them - and even whether or not they should keep them. Those who are still on a waitlist or are simply curious about the trend are going so far as to DIY the jeans by taking a scissor to one leg of an old pair. I, on the other hand, dared to step into the Romeo Hunte Black One Leg Pant ($232, originally $725), an alternative take on the same silhouette that's even more eye-catching (which, how is that possible?). These jeans were, without a doubt, one of the most polarizing looks I've ever worn - and I've tried some pretty divisive clothing, from Skims butt-enhancing shapewear to the brand's famous push-up nipple bra , and many a sheer naked dress . After wearing the jeans around town to run errands and obviously attracting some attention (st...

Oh, to Be Pedro Pascal's Sparkly Cardigan

Never have we been more envious of an inanimate object than when Pedro Pascal stepped out in a sparkly cardigan this week. As soon as we saw him walking the streets of London wearing the glittery knit, we longed to swap places with it - to be enrobing the heartthrob, catching the attention of random passersby, sparking internet discourse, and ultimately taking responsibility for his style breakout. Pascal has been serving look after look while promoting " The Last of Us " season one and "The Mandalorian" season three this year, working with stylists Julie Ragolia and Fabio Immediato . His latest came on Feb. 23 when he arrived to a radio interview wearing the shiny cardigan in question: a long button-down sweater made of silver foil yarn and created by menswear label 4SDesigns. He layered it over a sheer brown tank top and finished the look with black pants, leather boots, and his usual chunky-framed glasses. Just one day prior, the actor stopped by a photo call...
