8 Accessory Trends You'll Want to Be Seen in Come Fall

We may still be basking in the sweltering summer heat, but the fashion editor inside of me is already thinking forward to the exciting fall season ahead, specifically to the clothes and accessories I should be investing in now that will carry me through the upcoming months in utmost style.

One of the easiest ways to transition into the new season is with a chic accessory—one that can amp up your summer outfit and give it a trendy fall spin. Below, I’m sharing some of the biggest accessory trends that caught our eye from the fall 2021 collections that you’ll undoubtedly want to be spotted in this upcoming season. From puffy pillow-like bags to oversize shades and chic hair scarves, these are the types of accessories you can add to your cart today and slowly integrate into your wardrobe between now and fall. Get ahead of the fashion curve, and shop our favorite accessories before everyone else.

Hobo bags have had a resurgence this season, and we're happy to hear they're here to stay for fall. For the new season, we're seeing plenty of iterations of the bag—from slouchy to more structured silhouettes that come in varying sizes and luxurious textures.
We're (of course!) ecstatic that cushy and comfy padded sandals (which are having a major moment right now) will continue to be a big trend this fall. Everything from quilted soft flat slides to cushy thong kitten heels made an appearance on the fall 2021 runways.
Fashion people have been loving this "grandma" trend for the past few seasons, and we continued to see plenty of chic hair scarves in the fall 2021 collections in various luxe colors and prints.
The bigger, the better when it comes to your sunglasses this fall. The oversize silhouette provides that extra dose of glam to your ensembles.
From bold chain belts to wide leather belts, the perennially chic accessory adorned everything from coats to slip skirts and suits on the runways.
We love that big and bold chunky rings will remain a huge trend for fall. Be sure to stack one on practically every finger for a statement look.
As we head into September and the temps eventually start to cool, we'll no doubt want something impeccably chic to keep us warm. That's where arm warmers come in. Look out for dresses and tops with detached sleeves to take on the trend, or simply buy some chic arm warmers to add to your tank tops that'll take you from this season into the next seamlessly.
Cushy, pillow-like bags are one of the coolest carryalls to be spotted in this season. Whether you go for a neutral color or a bold hue, it will provide an Insta-worthy look from now through autumn.

I Tried the Viral One-Leg Jeans, and I Got Plenty of Stares

If you're into fashion and an avid TikTok scroller, you've probably come across the viral and somewhat controversial Coperni one-leg jeans . People who got their hands on them are asking followers how they should style them - and even whether or not they should keep them. Those who are still on a waitlist or are simply curious about the trend are going so far as to DIY the jeans by taking a scissor to one leg of an old pair. I, on the other hand, dared to step into the Romeo Hunte Black One Leg Pant ($232, originally $725), an alternative take on the same silhouette that's even more eye-catching (which, how is that possible?). These jeans were, without a doubt, one of the most polarizing looks I've ever worn - and I've tried some pretty divisive clothing, from Skims butt-enhancing shapewear to the brand's famous push-up nipple bra , and many a sheer naked dress . After wearing the jeans around town to run errands and obviously attracting some attention (st...

Oh, to Be Pedro Pascal's Sparkly Cardigan

Never have we been more envious of an inanimate object than when Pedro Pascal stepped out in a sparkly cardigan this week. As soon as we saw him walking the streets of London wearing the glittery knit, we longed to swap places with it - to be enrobing the heartthrob, catching the attention of random passersby, sparking internet discourse, and ultimately taking responsibility for his style breakout. Pascal has been serving look after look while promoting " The Last of Us " season one and "The Mandalorian" season three this year, working with stylists Julie Ragolia and Fabio Immediato . His latest came on Feb. 23 when he arrived to a radio interview wearing the shiny cardigan in question: a long button-down sweater made of silver foil yarn and created by menswear label 4SDesigns. He layered it over a sheer brown tank top and finished the look with black pants, leather boots, and his usual chunky-framed glasses. Just one day prior, the actor stopped by a photo call...
