And Just Like That, My Cart Is Already Full of Trendy Fall Items

Anyone else excited for fall? Sure, we may still be basking in the sweltering summer heat and wearing our lightweight dresses and linen shorts right now, but fall starts in approximately seven weeks, and I, for one, can’t wait for all the sartorial delights and cool trends the new season has to offer (not to mention the many other delights that come with it).

In fact, I’ve already started to load up my cart(s) with plenty of chic new-season pieces you might not want to miss out on, either. From matching knit sets to must-have halter-necks, below, I’m sharing everything I’ve been eyeing and loving for the new season. Keep scrolling for the pieces that deserve a place in your fall wardrobe. There’s a little something for every budget.

Vests worn as tops are one of my favorite new fall trends.
Perfect for that early fall chill in the air.
Give your dresses a new-season update. Ruched shirtdresses are ideal.
I'm obsessed with a capital O.
This knit dress looks way more expensive than its price tag. Wear it as a tunic over its matching knit pants. Shop the matching Rib Knit Pants ($25).
Padded sandals continue to trend hard into fall.
No surprise here, but we saw oversize blazers all over the fall 2021 runways.
If there's one top to get this fall, it's one with halter strings.
Transition into the new season with a rib-knit skirt.
Sleek knee-high boots are a fall must.
An oversize button-down is always a good idea. Shop the matching Heaton Stripe High Waist Cotton Shorts ($48).
Padded bags will be everywhere next season.
How chic is this knit set, though? Shop the matching Flared Rib Knit Trousers ($99).
Step into the new season with a pair of cool kicks.
Plissé is a fashion favorite, and I can't keep my eyes off this beautiful set. Shop the matching Issey Pant ($178).
It's all about stacking your rings (on each finger) this fall.
Loose and relaxed jeans continue to be the name of the game.
How versatile are these?
More cute halter-neck action because I can't get enough.
Oh, BTW, leopard print is back in a big way for autumn.
Baguette bags are here to stay.
Ease your way into the new season with a cute sweater-vest.
Lilac is one of the biggest color trends for fall.
Add some Chanel-like vibes to your new-season wardrobe.
Say yes to these easy clogs.
This will add the perfect finishing touch to your ensembles.
Cloud-like coats were another huge trend in the fall collections.
Wear from summer to fall with ease.
Because we still love wearing white in the colder months.
Tell me these don't look designer?
This season, it's all about mixing fun prints. Pair with the cool skirt below.
You know you'll be getting plenty of compliments in this.
Guaranteed to amp up any outfit.
The coolest layering piece.
Chunky and oversize cable knits are a fall essential.
You can easily style this over a skin-tight turtleneck once the temps cool.
A quilted coat is perfect for those chilly fall walks.

I Tried the Viral One-Leg Jeans, and I Got Plenty of Stares

If you're into fashion and an avid TikTok scroller, you've probably come across the viral and somewhat controversial Coperni one-leg jeans . People who got their hands on them are asking followers how they should style them - and even whether or not they should keep them. Those who are still on a waitlist or are simply curious about the trend are going so far as to DIY the jeans by taking a scissor to one leg of an old pair. I, on the other hand, dared to step into the Romeo Hunte Black One Leg Pant ($232, originally $725), an alternative take on the same silhouette that's even more eye-catching (which, how is that possible?). These jeans were, without a doubt, one of the most polarizing looks I've ever worn - and I've tried some pretty divisive clothing, from Skims butt-enhancing shapewear to the brand's famous push-up nipple bra , and many a sheer naked dress . After wearing the jeans around town to run errands and obviously attracting some attention (st...

Oh, to Be Pedro Pascal's Sparkly Cardigan

Never have we been more envious of an inanimate object than when Pedro Pascal stepped out in a sparkly cardigan this week. As soon as we saw him walking the streets of London wearing the glittery knit, we longed to swap places with it - to be enrobing the heartthrob, catching the attention of random passersby, sparking internet discourse, and ultimately taking responsibility for his style breakout. Pascal has been serving look after look while promoting " The Last of Us " season one and "The Mandalorian" season three this year, working with stylists Julie Ragolia and Fabio Immediato . His latest came on Feb. 23 when he arrived to a radio interview wearing the shiny cardigan in question: a long button-down sweater made of silver foil yarn and created by menswear label 4SDesigns. He layered it over a sheer brown tank top and finished the look with black pants, leather boots, and his usual chunky-framed glasses. Just one day prior, the actor stopped by a photo call...
