I'm an Expert Amazon Shopper, and These 9 Cheap Basics Never Let Me Down

I write about great Amazon fashion finds regularly. It’s part of the job. Every month I get to try, test, and give my honest reviews on the coolest pieces I unearth from the deep Amazon jungle! And there’s nothing more satisfying when I find an affordable and chic piece that I then find myself wearing all the time. There are certain Amazon items I’ve picked up over the years that I have never regretted buying—predominantly because they’re versatile, affordable, reliable, and easy-to-wear on a daily basis.

Today, I wanted to share some of my absolute favorite Amazon basics—from a staple $8 white tee to an effortless black tank dress that I lean on again and again. These are ideal everyday items that are cool, I don’t feel overly precious about and the best part? They're all under-$50. Keep scrolling for theAmazon basics that never let me down then shop more of my favorites I have my eye on right now.

This 100% cotton white tank top is a staple in my daily wardrobe. It's the perfect layering piece under cardigans and sweaters and when the temps start to rise it's ideal for pairing with denim shorts and skirts. I love its relaxed fit and soft, lightweight feel. I recommend sizing down.
I love a luxe-feeling cardigan and this chic ivory-hued beauty is one of my absolute favorites. It feels super soft, it's warm, and it adds an elevated touch to everything in my wardrobe. (Oh, and it comes in various colors if you don't trust yourself with white.) I'm wearing it with another stellar Amazon find—a chic ribbed knit dress that's not only super flattering but looks way more expensive than its price tag.
I've talked about this crazy-soft tank dress before and I'll happily rave about it again. If you're looking for a comfortable (and stretchy) dress to work in all day or run around in yet you still want to look put-together and polished—this is the perfect pick. Easy to wear with sneakers, sandals, and boots alike.
I've had this basic white tee for a couple of years now and it still remains one of my favorites. I love its relaxed fit and the fact that my bra doesn't show underneath (hallelujah!). The quality is nice too. Oh, and did I mention it's $8!? Add to cart, friends!
If you need some comfy, cozy, and affordable sweatpants to lounge in, you can't go wrong with this Hanes pair. I've been living in mine this season at home. Just a note they do run large but shrink a little in the wash.
Whether you wear it with a coat while the temps are still cool or you wear it alone over a floral dress in spring, this staple cozy knit sweater is divine—it's super-soft, really lovely quality, and has a relaxed silhouette.
I wear this casual, oversize button-down year-round and it's so versatile to throw on over lightweight turtlenecks and tank tops alike.
I don't know where I'd be in L.A without my cool and effortless utility jacket. It comes in four versatile colors and is perfect for spring.
These shaping leggings are a WWW best-seller (and gets rave Amazon reviews!).
Scoop up this fitted polo top that feels so fresh right now.
Your everyday hoops with a twist.
The perfect layering piece.
A trusty sweatshirt you'll turn to time and time again.
Cushy thong sandals are trending (and will last you a lifetime).
Comfy sweat shorts for the win.
Exude French-girl vibes in this short sleeve cardigan.
You can never have too many comfy hoodies.
A slip dress is a basic must-have for any wardrobe.
Proof that cool and versatile sunglasses need not cost a fortune.
Amazon's number one best-seller, my fellow editors rave about this lightweight supportive bra.
A super flattering tank dress will get you out of any dressing dilemma.
When in doubt, you can't ever go wrong with black slides.

I Tried the Viral One-Leg Jeans, and I Got Plenty of Stares

If you're into fashion and an avid TikTok scroller, you've probably come across the viral and somewhat controversial Coperni one-leg jeans . People who got their hands on them are asking followers how they should style them - and even whether or not they should keep them. Those who are still on a waitlist or are simply curious about the trend are going so far as to DIY the jeans by taking a scissor to one leg of an old pair. I, on the other hand, dared to step into the Romeo Hunte Black One Leg Pant ($232, originally $725), an alternative take on the same silhouette that's even more eye-catching (which, how is that possible?). These jeans were, without a doubt, one of the most polarizing looks I've ever worn - and I've tried some pretty divisive clothing, from Skims butt-enhancing shapewear to the brand's famous push-up nipple bra , and many a sheer naked dress . After wearing the jeans around town to run errands and obviously attracting some attention (st...

Oh, to Be Pedro Pascal's Sparkly Cardigan

Never have we been more envious of an inanimate object than when Pedro Pascal stepped out in a sparkly cardigan this week. As soon as we saw him walking the streets of London wearing the glittery knit, we longed to swap places with it - to be enrobing the heartthrob, catching the attention of random passersby, sparking internet discourse, and ultimately taking responsibility for his style breakout. Pascal has been serving look after look while promoting " The Last of Us " season one and "The Mandalorian" season three this year, working with stylists Julie Ragolia and Fabio Immediato . His latest came on Feb. 23 when he arrived to a radio interview wearing the shiny cardigan in question: a long button-down sweater made of silver foil yarn and created by menswear label 4SDesigns. He layered it over a sheer brown tank top and finished the look with black pants, leather boots, and his usual chunky-framed glasses. Just one day prior, the actor stopped by a photo call...
