We're Fashion Girls in Our 30s, and Here's What We're Buying at Nordstrom
As you may well know, we’re big fans of Nordstrom over here at Who What Wear. We cover everything from its epic sales to its must-have new arrivals and the seasonal trends you can scoop up from the multi-brand retailer.
As a fashion editor in my 30s, I definitely have specific items I gravitate toward when shopping at Nordstrom (read: blazers, button-downs, tank tops, and tees). I was curious to see what other fashion girls in their 30s are buying from the trusty retailer, so I tapped into my fashion-forward 30-something colleagues and had them share the must-have items they love to buy and are currently eyeing right now from Nordstrom.
If you’re in your 30s or simply want some Nordstrom shopping inspo, keep scrolling below to take a peek at what Who What Wear’s fashion set in their 30s are buying right now.
"I'm such a jeans person, and Nordstrom has an excellent selection from tons of brands.""Random fun fact: Nordstrom has so many sunglasses. You can get a $15 pair or a $400 pair all in one place. When in doubt, go for Ray-Ban Wayfarers. They look good on literally everyone.""I'm sure you're already aware, but Nordstrom has so many good basics. I love its new in-house brand Open Edit, which is responsible for this perfect boxy T-shirt.""Nike's shoe selection is incredible, but it's the sneaker inventory that really gets me. It always has the latest styles and is great about restocking the popular ones when they sell out.""I'm already thinking about transitional pieces that I can wear now but also once we hit fall.""It's a big yes to these slouchy trousers.""I recently ordered these heels from Saint Laurent, and they're already winning out as my new favorite shoes.""Yep, knit matching sets are going to be trending this fall." Shop the matching Ribbed High Waist Pant ($30)."I've definitely leaned into chic blazers in my 30s. Nordstrom always has a great selection—I'm particularly partial to a relaxed silhouette.""A versatile black dress I can dress up or down is a must in my closet at this stage.""These kitten-heel sandals are perfect when I want to feel polished and chic yet comfortable.""Relaxed button-downs are my go-to, and this one from 4th & Reckless is one of my favorites right now. I always make a beeline to the brand when I'm on Nordstrom's site. It has a nice selection of elevated yet affordable basics.""I've lost track at how many Madewell tees and tanks I've bought from Nordstrom. They're the best staples.""If there's one thing I buy more than anything at Nordstrom, it's tank tops. It has a great range of silhouettes and price points to suit every budget.""Dare you to find me vintage-inspired gold jewelry that I can't justify buying.""I've been crushing on ribbed swimwear for a few summers now, and it's not showing any signs of slowing down.""I'm in a committed relationship with high-waisted denim.""In terms of investment pieces, practical footwear is a no-brainer. These are the perfect shoes for between seasons.""A structured, statement blazer is always going to get a yes from me. Before the start of a new season, I like to invest in one special blazer to style with a number of outfits and extend the longevity of my wardrobe."“No skinny jeans here! Love the wash on this high-waisted pair.”"Like a blazer, having a statement (but still classic) shoe I can wear with at least five different outfits is essential.""Jumpsuits are a staple in my wardrobe. I've always had a thing for them, but our relationship has blossomed over the last year. I love the crushed, crinkle material of this one and can see myself wearing it with a denim jacket, chunky platform sandals, and a red lip.""I love second-skin tops, especially in fun prints. They just add that cool factor to every outfit. Pop one on under a slip dress or layered with a sweater, and you're bound to get compliments.""For most of my life, my bottoms of choice were jeans. But as I've gotten older—and living through a global pandemic!—nothing sounds less appealing than wearing tight denim all day long. That's why I've gotten into trousers. They're always chic and make me feel pulled together but more importantly are comfortable."
If you're into fashion and an avid TikTok scroller, you've probably come across the viral and somewhat controversial Coperni one-leg jeans . People who got their hands on them are asking followers how they should style them - and even whether or not they should keep them. Those who are still on a waitlist or are simply curious about the trend are going so far as to DIY the jeans by taking a scissor to one leg of an old pair. These jeans were, without a doubt, one of the most polarizing looks I've ever worn - and I've tried some pretty divisive clothing, from Skims butt-enhancing shapewear to the brand's famous push-up nipple bra , and many a sheer naked dress . After wearing the jeans around town to run errands and obviously attracting some attention (st...

Never have we been more envious of an inanimate object than when Pedro Pascal stepped out in a sparkly cardigan this week. As soon as we saw him walking the streets of London wearing the glittery knit, we longed to swap places with it - to be enrobing the heartthrob, catching the attention of random passersby, sparking internet discourse, and ultimately taking responsibility for his style breakout. Pascal has been serving look after look while promoting " The Last of Us " season one and "The Mandalorian" season three this year, working with stylists Julie Ragolia and Fabio Immediato . His latest came on Feb. 23 when he arrived to a radio interview wearing the shiny cardigan in question: a long button-down sweater made of silver foil yarn and created by menswear label 4SDesigns. He layered it over a sheer brown tank top and finished the look with black pants, leather boots, and his usual chunky-framed glasses. Just one day prior, the actor stopped by a photo call...
