I Wear Black Jeans More Than Anything Else—These Shoe Trends Look Chic With Them

Fun fact: My denim drawer is filled primarily with black jeans. That said, I have been interested in trying a cool pair of blue jeans (and actually just ordered a new silhouette from Madewell). But for my day-to-day life, it’s a trusty pair of black jeans that acts as the anchor to my simple yet chic ensembles. There are a few key pieces I often style with said jeans to complete my outfits. In reference to footwear specifically, I usually go for white sneakers.

However, after scrolling through my Saved feed on IG, I noted a few other shoe trends that look excellent with black jeans. These are picks that I’ll test out myself or recommend to my friends when they ask for sartorial guidance. I want to invest in another pair of loafers this season in a chunkier silhouette. I'm into the idea of teaming them with cropped jeans and white socks to show them off.
On the flats front, mules or sweet ballet flats are cute, effortless choices.
Flat boots—whether they have a chunky sole or not—will bring a cool twist to any denim look. I'm feeling this vibe with skinny jeans.
This is one look that will always be a go-to for me. Jeans and white sneakers are classic.
