Is Chloë's Hot Pink Hourglass Blazer the Star of "Have Mercy," or What?

Forgive me, Zerina Akers, for fixating all of my attention on just one of Chloë's looks in the "Have Mercy" video, but I just can't help myself. The hot pink, plaid hourglass blazer that Bailey's stylist scored her for the very first shot is just that phenomenal. Since it's from high-fashion street wear brand Area, it does cost a pretty penny (just under $2k), but is not your average blazer what with the crystal-embellished pocket flaps, décolletage-framing sweetheart neckline, cinched waist, and eye-catching cutout at the back. Zerina and Chloë decided to style it with hotpants, square sunglasses, and a dazzling diamond choker necklace to play up the details, and we are certainly feeling the vibe.

Even though we also see Chloë in a metallic Alexandre Vauthier Couture jacket, shapely Schiaparelli number, and custom Rey Ortiz two-piece throughout the 3:30 masterpiece of a video, it's the Area blazer that has stolen my heart - perhaps starting from the moment I first admired it on Tiffany Haddish - leaving me no other option than to recreate the look for myself. Never have we been more envious of an inanimate object than when Pedro Pascal stepped out in a sparkly cardigan this week.
