Neat Idea: Ella Emhoff Makes Lug-Sole Platform Oxfords Work For a Wedding

When Ella Emhoff and boyfriend Sam Hine attended a fall wedding, they were sure to do it in style. We're really not surprised. The duo, who also stepped out during Fashion Week (seeing as Ella's a model and designer and Hine works for GQ), both wore their own takes on a pantsuit. Ella's came bejeweled with Miu Miu crystals - her embellished cropped blazer retails for almost $3K, and her bag is from the brand, too - while Hine stuck with accoutrements such as a classic bow tie and pearl drop earrings.

Our favorite accessories of all, however, were Ella's studded black oxfords that came with a lug-sole tread platform. She could have worn the shoes with casual jeans the day before, but the way they spiffed up her elegant separates came as a delightful surprise. It's also a reminder that heels are never a must, and comfort is key.
