Let's be honest, the best thing about fall is the fashion. While sundresses will surely be missed, there's nothing better than throwing on jeans with a sweater, booties, and a cute jacket. The outfit options are endless, and there are hundreds of ways to style a seasonal jacket - that is, once you've found the perfect one. And, lucky for me, I found just that! After nothing more than a quick glance, I knew the Old Navy Soft-Brushed Utility Shacket ($33, originally $65) was about to become part of my fall wardrobe for seasons to come.

Light enough to wear when the weather decides to revert back to summer in the mid-afternoon, yet warm enough when the temperature changes back to fall after the sun dips behind the horizon, this jacket lets me enjoy every bit of the ever-changing season. Paired with jeans and a long-sleeved, a minidress and booties, a skirt and a crop top, or on its own with leggings, this shacket is versatile enough to complement any look I'm going for. (Pro tip: I got it in a size bigger than usual, since I love an oversize vibe, and it's warmer with more fabric.)
